Just finished The Girl Who Played With Fire. A cracking read, I'm already itching to get hold of the next in the series. Currently reading a bizarre japanese book lent to me by a colleague - Almost Transparent Blue, in which nothing actually seems to happen.
  2. I think it's more the Channel 5 kids TV variety. "mamma-mee-mee-mee-mee-mee-mee-more-milk-shake!"

  6. It's the Louisa show. Gasp! How far will she go this time?! It's all so exciting! Go on Louisa, say something really offensive!

  8. Please don't take this the wrong way AW123, but are you by any chance a muck-raking "journalist" type?
  9. Top 200 Albums of the decade @Pitchfork No.1 certainly raised my eyebrows.
  10. I certainly am Ann. It's very rare to see such cameraderie amongst fans, nice to see some black and white shirts in amongst the home support. Can't imagine that happening at too many grounds around the country. Indded a fine tribute to a fine man. I still can't belive that he was fired from the Newcastle job. If only those running Newcastle (past and present) were a patch on the Ipswich hierarchy of old, he would surely have died with Newcastle still a Premiership force.
  11. Much better last night, plenty of guffawing from me.

  13. The BBC have announced that they'll be broadcasting the Boro vs Newcastle match live. Even as a Toon fan I have to say this is a bit much, surely some other teams should be getting a bit of exposure? Looking forward to the Ipswich game on Saturday. Hopefully Roy's boys disastrous form will continue for a bit longer. It seems they were a lot of people's tips for promotion, but it currently looks like the only way they'll be leaving the Championship this year is via trap-door (I've probably just jinxed Newcastle big time).

My two year old loves it, as a result of which she was wandering around sainsburys the other day singing the chorus to Hey Bulldog! One of my proudest moments.
  15. I'm not sick but I'm not weeeeeeeeeeelllllllllllllll, ba ba ba baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.....
  16. Very disappointed with the first episode, hopefully it'll be back up to usual high standards next week.

They're more underhanded than that. They like to hack forum accounts in order to make it look like their opponents are unable to spell/construct a sentence. Sinister stuff.

Unexpected people in unexpected places. Very odd. Is he playing at the Academy I wonder?
  20. I would have to say that he's a complete tool. His opinions on most things Football should be kept to himself.
