BEHOLD! The Wispa Gold is back. also, Sainsburys are stocking big bags of Treets, thought we'd seen the last of those when the M&M was introduced.

FOI request re reception admissions (Heber)
capt_birdseye replied to Fuschia's topic in The Family Room Discussion
It's safest walking distance. I believe they have some programme which works it all out. -
I would still feel a little bit dirty.

It is morally wrong to claim a "100" when a thread has been artificially bumped solely for that purpose (a la "Guilty Pleasures"). Discuss.

Um, > I'm feeling the urge to go out and vote... Looks like your wish has been granted. I walked past "Scoop" this morning, it's next door to Il Mirto. Opening just as the weather gets bad again. -
It's squeaky bum time.

I believe it's the order in which they've appeared for England, i.e. the 638th person to represent England at Test level.

"Favourite Offy" would be a good one, seeing as you started that thread.

advice needed - when to stop using nappies at night?
capt_birdseye replied to samstopit's topic in The Family Room Discussion
Try ditching the nappies and putting him on the toilet when you go to bed. We did that with our daughter and it worked a treat. She was so drowsy that she would comply easily and go straight back to sleep afterwards. We kept it up for a couple of months before stopping completely. You can get some disposable pampers sheets just in case, but we never ended up needing them. Good luck. -
Nearly right, it was where I admitted to being Gary Barlow himself, but then decided to protect my anonymity... drat.

That's for me to know music fans!

I seem to remember the same thing happening to Palace many years ago. Clive Allen scored, the ball hit the tightly strung net and bounced straight back out again. The ref didn't awarard the goal then either.

The Official EDF Fantasy Football League - "EDF Super Liga"
capt_birdseye replied to matthew123's topic in The Lounge
It's a strange game where I get a warm feeling seeing Matthew Upson powering in a goal! It really messes with you loyalties. Come on Zindedine Sydenham! -
Isn't it Dutch or Norwegian or something? Probably hilarious in it's original language, but clearly loses any humour or poignancy in translation.

I think it's pretty irrelevant whether he's an utter arse or not, it's the music wot counts. For a first classical effort it was pretty remarkable, especially (not suprisingly) the drum section, not quite my cup of tea but it would certainly be interesting to hear if he carries on in this direction.

I'm confused - 10 Oct 2010? How does that work, is Mrs Piers going to break records for the most overdue baby of all time?

Cast of thousands is actually quite uplifting!

"Asleep at the Back" by..........Elbow! Some good tracks, but not as dood as their following two albums.

There was EDF league on that site last year. If whoever administered it renews it then people won't have to re-join.
