  1. Lets organise a Mass Catholic Baptism comrades - all welcome - children and adults - its only a piece of paper after akll and may help bring down this corropt and twisted empire - its not like you have to abide by the guff that they come out with. anyway - taxpayers fund these schools hugely - the Catholic Schools authority defends this funding by saying that catholics are taxpayers too and to allow non catholics in may stop catholics getting access to a decent education. Forward comrades - lets breach the walls of faith schools and liberate their inmates
  2. It doesnt take away 2 spaces ? have a look at the spacing next time you are out - the front of an AG house can pretty much cope with 2 car parking spaces - when you drop the kerb, you remove both spaces effectively. you cannot complain about the AG parking system being a nightmare and then support the dropping of kerbs. This kerb dropping has been a an increasingly common reafure ion the past handful of years. Pre about 2002/3, there was always room to park on the AG and car ownership has not increased for resident during this time. Can you remember how easy it used to be ?

Hmmm. the Catholic church hates Hypcrites doesnt it Clare ? seeingf as the CEO is ex Hitler Youth and through the churches dogmas, hundreds of milliions of people worldwide live short miserable poverty ridden lives. An apalling almost criminal institution. The catholic church is one of the richest corporation in the world with a loyal customer base. I would not normally advocate the pretending to follow a religion to get into a school, but in this case, You have Snorkys blessing should you wish to follow that path.Every Cuckoo you can get into the catholic Gnostic nest is another nail in the cioffin of this Heinous religion. Word.

Doesnt help the chicken / egg situation with the latest Ashbourne Grove arrivals all paving their miniscule front gardens and getting the kerbs dropped, thus taking away another 2 spaces for possible parking? most seem to do this in order to keep the riff raff away from their front doors - not a very community minded thing to do, but then again what should we expect ?

I could list the arguemnt here, but Im sure you can work them out yourself
  9. Oh dear, a discussion where I may even agree with most of the posters, as much as it grates I have ben done twice in ED by the wardens and although itr pained me to pay out, I was caught bang to rights both times Guv'nor. The full CPZ in the Bellenden road area was effectively scuppered due to 99% distinterest and about 0.5% furious agitation by about 4 people......How dare they try to introduce rule that would reduce the amount of cars racing around our streets, and curbing ( ha! ) the rampant bad and dangerous parking outside shops.Remember people, the shops want to make profits more than they want your kids to run about in a safer environment I am sick and tired of bleating and evasive sidestepping of responsibility from people, who park badly and then spend a small fortune trying to find ways of avoiding taking responsibility for their actions. I am sick of bleating about getting 3 points when "i was was only going 5 miles an hour over the limit".......such is the sad state of our society. Yes to CPZ.Yes to a better East Dulwich. Yes to cleaner air. dont let this reactionary guff fool you - these is an agenda here and it is not in the vast majotity of our interests as parents and resident. as for the Shopkeepers and businesses ? a lesson from history - its was the small businessman & the petty shopkeepers that ensured A certain Mr Hitler became Chancellor of the Reich nearly a century ago.......

  15. The sweat shop retort is *SO* lazy. Do you think that the M&S have fresh flowers, organic coffee & croissants every morning in the Mayalasian suppliers factories? Do you think that your loverly Boden is hand made by willing people who wake up ebery morning and cant wait to get to work ? why do you think Johnny Boden is based in the sweat shop and rag trade capital of the UK ? Do you think Johnny personally watched over his bangladeshi suppliers day and night and makes sure they all get adequate healthcare ? Glass houses and all that
