  1. I believe I saw one looking for victims this morning! he was in discussion with driver of a sports car in middle of Kinsale Road by the school. I waited and then pulled over so he continued into fenwicknroad. He was hovering and looking back at me so I pulled over again. I drove on and turned intO Nutbrook at which point he appeared again behind me. I pulled into a parking space. So did he. I got my phone out as if to take a pic and then he drove off. I wonder if the sport car was the boss giving instructions for the days mischief. Sorry too far to take a pic and I wasn’t ready for a confrontation
  2. She was helped to a seat and attended by staff- seemed v shocked.
  3. When will something be done about safe access to platforms? The overcrowding on the stairs at rush hour is ridiculous with multi trains arriving simultaneously and an inadequate staircase. Yesterday at around 5.30pm there was only room for people to descend, congestion at the bottom from three available exit barriers and a lady fell down the concrete stairs.
  4. Re signage, the signage for the Adys School street on the approach from Nutbrook street is very confusing. It says ‘school street ahead’ and an arrow to the right, which could be interpreted as the direction of the school street. But that is to the left. By the time drivers get to see the sign that depicts times of restrictions they are at the point of no return or three point turn. There used to be an Adequate sign with correct info but it has been removed. Council have ignored correspondence pointing this out.
  5. Used Milk and More for years with satisfaction and very few blips.
  6. It seems to be a calm junction with two zebra crossings immediately outside school on both roads, (school on a corner) halting traffic on plus dedicated lollipop persons. Bellenden road itself - (the restriction is intended for the whole road up until the one way system) is a not a cut through but a well used route to north and central London as well as Camberwell. parents are already restricted by morning residents parking up to a point.
  7. Local SE15 residents have received a letter asking for comments on Southwark's proposal to make most of Bellenden Road and Maxted Road school streets from 7.45am-9am weekdays; in my (local) opinion, effectively cutting off passing trade for the Crossroads caff and two independent grocers, ( one of which has an early morning queue for coffee and pastries) not to mention the other businesses currently struggling under soaring rents. Also poss turning adjoining local residential streets into rush hour rat runs as they flow towards an increasingly congested Rye Lane. consultation available on their website. Code attached if you are interested in having a look.
  8. No!!! This was an annoying misjudgement at one mile an hour where I turned the wheel to straighten up prematurely and scratched his paintwork with my rear side. My first my fault prang this century!
  9. Hi all my blue Skoda scraped a parked Toyota this morning parking near Cherry Tree. We are sorting it out and the owner was standing on pavements to see his beloved car scraped! all civil though he was justifiably upset. Me too! There were quite a few passers by including a man and his dog . There was no one in the car and it would be good to be backed just in case.l anyone starts appearing on neck brace!
  10. Just beyond our boundaries but a worthy inheritor of the East Dulwich Comedy Club si loved at the Tavern!
  11. The car hit the billiard on the corner of nutbrook at speed. The guy was ok and police and ambulance involved.
  12. In some cases moped lease companies and aggressive insurance company have been found to occupy the same premises
  13. Film them immediately with your own commentary plus all around bike and car ask them to remove face coverings Ask for their licence suggest they are targeting lone women or women with kids even if you go into the back of them, if they cut you up it is dangerous driving on their part which is a criminal offence call cops warn all female drivers you know of this scam so s they are prepared! because of this thread I have become aware of mopeds circling, changing direction when they see me etc
  14. This CCTV sign has appeared on junction of Peckham rye and kinsale road. Surely you can’t start fining people without a local consultation ? And who would be doing it? The gas board? Southwark? I live in the in the road that connects to the road it refers to , and drive through as I have done for 20 years.
  15. SMBs have the best organic porridge oats to make at home.
  16. the water mains were flooding on Sunday from Village Way all the way down to Lordship lane so possible repair?
  17. Thanksxsll ive decided to return to original clinic with my questions.
  18. Thank you!!!
  19. Thanks i went to the chiropodist for my toenails! Not my gait. It was a remark he made on seeing my insoles, suggesting tennis ball w revised etc. . He doesn’t do insoles and at that time i thought mine were ok. A podiatrist has sophisticated equipment for gait analysis etc. it’s not always just about your feet. I have flat feet but am also doing some wierd way of placing my feet. They are also v expensive ! re Guys self referral, I’m not in pain or immobile so think I’d wait a long time for an appointment! However before my insoles I did have foot pain and also fell over my own clown feet quite regularly! chiropractor is something different again. I think I’m after a second opinion on my insoles. Carlton Jefferson is the chiropodist rear of 60 Peckham Rye He is not my original podiatrist for whom I had a private referral!
  20. Thankyou! Originally I had a private referral ( husband had health insurance at time) and so worn insoles for years but I still wear my shoes down in one place at a ridiculous rate! A fab chiropodist agrees with posture is everything stance. Experienced cobbler says some it ain’t right and I’m over corrected.
  21. Sorry this just didn’t seem to belong to request a tradesperson. any good experiences? Not a chiropodist!
  22. They only had trees recently and no aground or plants
