  1. So,just when council is trying to reduce car use through all its road closures, a major public transport route into town has been cut in half ? This isn?t just East Dulwich but the main Peckham Rye route. Our route to Victoriamwas sliced a couple of years back too. What do our councillors have to say about this?
  2. Silver for SE London Kingsdale School local boy! In the Triathlon!
  3. hi, noticed on my walk this morning that the signposts on junction of East Dulwich Road and Peckham Rye are facing wrong way sending those seeking St Johns Church in the direction of Nunhead and those wanting to go to East Dulwich into Rye Lane! High winds or a prankster?
  4. you can book eight days in advance after 10pm . By 10.05pm everything is gone and I'm just talking about silver pilates!!
  5. at one time my server forbade me from going to the EDF unless it was via Amsterdam!! I think it thought it was the dark web.
  6. I have to confess it is much better In my street but things are quieter t the moment anyway, so we shall see.

  9. Definitely would survive but might escape!
  10. I have the three headed leek species of wild garlic and it?s v invasive. I can cut some if you want but I wouldn?t advise introducing it into your garden.
  11. Book seven days advance so now for April 12th. I just got last early swim for Monday!
  12. thanks everyone for all the advice and private messages. I sent an email appeal and got a prompt cancellation of the fine ''this time''! thanks so much again.
  13. Thanks Frankito, I email and tweet the school every time - who are closed over the weekend and have no out of hours emergency number. My curtains are thick and lined and the light is unreasonable and Guetamalo Bay like. I know they have done it accidentally and it costs them a lot of money.ist. I wondered if anyone else was experiencing it or had a number, this is the lounge where I can vent in the middle of the night under the Colditz glare..
  14. Lights still on and nearly midday!
  15. Here we go again. Sunday. 1am.

  17. thanks I have now done that. It was a very fraught situation
  18. Thanks for all the good advice and private messages. This is a journey I would always walk but this was also a day when we ended up in A&E

Maddeningly we are walking distance but daughter was not in good state
  20. thank you Malambu. The fine is ?85 and ?50 if paid immediately. I do usually cough up and I can see they would not know my reasoning. Its just a machine reading my numberplate. It was unfortunate that I was literally dropping her off and pulled into a space and she was upset and asked me to wait. Of course if I had read the sign properly I would have given my reg to reception. But I did look at the immediate signage because I wondered if I was allowed to park and it just said who the car park belonged to. It is very annoying as I then had to pay the congestion charge to take her into ST Thomas's where she was referred for a GP appointment at 8pm- a very expensive day. As it is a free car park I wouldnt think the centre would want people to be penalised like this.
  21. I don't think my daughter was asked this, she said someone pointed her to the blood test bit and there was no other interaction.
  22. my daughter went into the reception area - it wouldnt have occurred to her. She is not a driver and was already upset. I was in the car. I would have registered it if I had seen that signage. I didn't get out of the car.Literally pulled in and then pulled out when she came back.
  23. Ive just received a fine for parking in the TJC for 14 minutes while I sat in the car. I had delivered my daughter for an emergency blood test and she asked me to wait. I read the signage and couldn't see anything about not being allowed to park there. If I had I would have parked in a residential street. Mind you I was a bit stressed and worried. My daughter as a result ended up in A&E later that evening- its OK, she was alright in the end. Can anyone clarify the rules on this? It was extremely misleading signage.
  24. I love your shed. Was it a kit or custom made?
  25. I had this for about a year and could only access the site via a Dutch server that I used specifically for the edf. No amount of help calls could change this. My wifi seemed to think the east Dulwich forum was the dark web and was blocking it.. Then a month ago it went back to normal.
