I have just spotted an Oxford motorcycle cover on the corner of Landcroft and Pellatt rd so have been to collect it for safe keeping. What colour is yours?
The mobile recycling is there on the fiRst Wednesday of the month from 10am to 1pm and takes electrical items, textiles, batteries, light bulbs, cardboard, books, CDs and DVDs but not glass.
I have noticed a robin chatting and singing during the night but only if I happen to be awake. Are you sure the bird is waking you rather than you not being in deep sleep? I really enjoy hearing it as a delightful change from planes!
Bud bug, I'm sorry if I appeared to suggest the OP hadn't called the police. I assumed they had so I apologise. I'm glad to report that a burglar has been caught in my road..
A burglar was caught in Pellatt road a very short time ago thanks to a neighbour calling 999. Being vigilant really works but, as Borki says, far too many threads on the forum get pointlessly nasty.
Well done to the wonderful person in Pellatt road who saw a burglar climb through the window at the front of the house. The burglar was caught as a result of you dialling 999. Please, if anyone sees anything suspicious ring 999, not 111.
I had to queue for ages a few days ago which I find difficult. A man wanting foreign currency was able to jump the queue so I have decided that from now on, if there is a long queue, I will go to the foreign currency window, ask for ?5 of ? and do whatever else as an afterthought!
