    I heard them stop outside your house, Robert_F and looked out of the window but they had ridden off at high speed. Although I didn't see them, I am sure they were not the same lot as on Saturday morning as the motorcycles I heard today were much more powerful.

    DulwichFox, the police officers who attended said that my neighbour should chain his 🏍 to a lamp post. Are you saying that this is wrong?

    The police also keep telling us not to use our phones in the street... Sorry to hear about yet another theft though and hope you're ok.

    It's my neighbour's bike and, mercifully the b******s didn't get it... Only a bit of damage was done to it as they were trying to break the lock by using a metal pole with a bicycle saddle still attached to it.. 😳

    At 5.40 this morning, three people on two motorcycles attempted to steal another motorcycle in Pellatt rd. Make sure your bikes are chained to a lamp post and the police also recommended using a cover on parked motorcycles.

    I presume the pavements are still open so parents can walk their children to and from school. I see few reasons for secondary school children to be picked up or dropped off.

    I have already complained about post being left sticking out of the letter box. It tells any burglars that the house is empty and let's the cold in.. It worked for a couple of days but, today, the post was sticking out again!! 😡

    I am curious to know why believe accuses people of locking the cat in as this thread does not suggest anything other than concern and care. I find his/ her comments pretty offensive and, if I were a cat belonging to this person, I too would go elsewhere!

    The police keep telling the public not to use their phones outside. We should be able to but there are too many incidents out there. MAK, it might be safer to wear a watch - unless you only own a Rolex!

    I am a teacher who teaches at an academy. I was not being sarcastic. I thought Lord Harris might be disappointed to see the behaviour of children at a school supported by his foundation.

    I'm a teacher and the school I work in is very concerned about bad behaviour outside the school when the pupils are in uniform. Maybe the events you are seeing could be filmed to show the school head. Maybe Lord Harris himself might like to see what boys are doing in public!
