    I reported a missed collection and was told it would be emptied within 3 days but it wasn't. I think it is totally fictional!

    We need to kick up about this: write to our MP, councillors etc. The sorting office in Highshore road has no parking and huge queues..

    Medusa, my cats have a couple of litter trays and have got used to being kept in at night. Jaywalker, I don't lock the cat flap until about 8pm. It is pitch dark by then and my cats are pretty happy sitting above the radiators!

    Medusa, I agree with Jennys: the cat killer is still very active and your cats should really be kept in, however much they might dislike it. My cats get a few treats once they are safely locked 🔒 in.

    lavender27, I feel like that a lot. I had an accident 18 months ago and am in constant pain. Some days, I can get myself from ED to Newbury, using a bus, a tube and two trains each way but, at other times, I can barely make it downstairs.

    There was a Sainsbury's delivery van in my road for well over an hour yesterday, radio blaring and engine running!

    The weekly collection for recycling was, I'm sure, in the days of the recycling boxes. The. Blue bins are more than twice the size of the boxes.
