  1. My first ever drinks and been called the 'best'...are the two related or did it mark the beginning of the end? I dunno I've liked most of them including the CPT both times, the Clockhouse, the very small winter gathering upstairs at the Lodge...and others anyway, Mick Mack's unofficial drinks were good and involved some racing
  2. What rubbish! The EDF is a vipery of lefty sentiment, quasi- marxism and Guardianistitus of the very worst sort. Come the revolution it will be "Are you now or have you ever been a poster on the East Dulwich Forum?"
  3. ????

    Driving

Arresting, charging and confiscationg the cars of the many, many Londoner's who drive without their test or any legal documents might be a start but fairly unlikely as it's a bit of a political hot potty
  4. I saw Anthony Sher's Richard 3rd and I thought his performance was pantomine....the critics raved; Shows how much I know.
  5. Is it as dull and annoying as your sectarian crap?
  6. It'd be a dull old place without Lordship Lane despite its many eyesores
  7. I think you're right Mick - I've always thought of myself as an increasingly moody old git trying to keep the booze intake down and the 'old fella' up
  8. ....remember when you used to love this. Now....up an hour before CBeebies kicks off :(

Predictable I know, but I'm not putting my nuts in any fooking fire
  16. Rosie, you missed "than are deamt of in our pholsosophy" bit, tsk, Frailty thy name etc
  17. very good, but at 1/20! West Ham for a draw at 8s looks better. I don't do Accies Narnia....but I did say I wanted a flutter. Not the Arse though, too poor value. I'll look. Got any Rugby tips?
  18. "Ebony & Ivory", *Bob*,...... "Ebony & Ivory"...two geniuses tearing their reputations to tatters
  19. Yup, I just close down at the thought of it! If we stay here which is our loose long term plan, then I'll think we'll do it when we've more flexibility with the Quidlets. If you stay 10 years plus it's got to be worth it all that extra space over years.... and a bit of value add.
  20. How about a stay in a either an old school posh or boutiquey hotel in London? - Presumably you tend not to do it as you live here but we've done it a couple of times and it's great to be like a tourist with minimum travel. Views harder to get though.
  21. You on the Jungle book site today W?
  22. Crazy Bear, nr Oxford...do it *disclaimer, possibly linked with unexpected but very welcome production of number 2...too much detail?
  23. We thought about it, but the disruption with 3 kids under 5 for that long has put it on hold. Just too much to put up with whatever the undoubted great result at the end. Not cheap either.
  24. Anyone got a tip or fancy...I just fancy a good old fashioned flutter today
