OMG! I think I'm in love! Hey Lush, are you the guy with the lovely bushy beard in the photos of the EDF drinks night? Is there a Mrs Lush? hehe ;-)

  9. I don't know, I don't think anyone has done a particularly good job at the moment, time for change I am afraid!
  10. my newborn baby on having just emerged into the World, gazing lovingly into my eyes (yes I know they can't see properly so young but they can see blurred images), I felt like she was really gazing into my soul saying, so you're the one who's been making all that noise then! Big believer in singing to unborns. An image from childhood growing up on farm in Scotland, section of woodland, so quiet and so green, shadowed by tall trees but with the sun glimpsing through and cascading down upon the biggest collection of forget me knots/bluebells I've ever seen, I can even remember the smell and thought it was my own magical secret place. Being priviliged enough to see and witness the reunion of a mother who had been separated from her three young children for a whole year whilst she fled her war torn natural country to escape persecution, not a dry eye in the area.
  11. The danger of that is that someone may mistake you for the culprit and thump you before you get the chance to explain that you are actually covering it up, or if it is on a house might prosecute you for defacing the property, call the Council, they are usually pretty quick where racially offensive grafitti is concerned.

Same here!
  14. I lost my polling card, but was told to bring ID with me, which I did, and all was well
  15. What really p'd me off was the fact that Sara actually had a really good idea when she said that there were no Eid cards on sale anywhere, but not one person picked it up, it would have been a fantastic idea, nobody even mentioned it in the after programme on BBC2, Really hope Sara gets her feet and speaks up a bit more and puts a few of those self important tw@ts in their place, bullying in any form is really a horrible thing, good on Raef for sticking up for her, he is kind of growing on me, ever so slightly, but I think this is all part and parcel of his gameplan! Jenny def needs a good kicking, horrible girl.
  16. Yay, its that time of the week again. And if I am not wrong, isn't the flame haired nasty girl Jenny up for being task master of her group today?

Moos, how sweetly honest and frank you are, I have to say, a lot of what you say rings true with me too.

  19. Both lol! Actually have an awful feeling that this post may have already been done in some other form, apologies if it has.
  20. 1. Not doing my lottery 3 weeks ago when five of my numbers came up. 2. Wishing I had taken up some kind of judo or self defence classes in my lifetime as I got rudely accosted week before last by a few guys in a club and would love to have done a Bruce Lee on them all! 3. Telling someone I really cared about that I hated him when in fact I actually really cared for him and fancied the pants off him,I was just embarrassed as hell, (I was only a nubie at the time)
  21. The dog should be put down immediately, have you thought of contacting your local press to give them your story, it might make the relevant local authority act a bit quicker if they get pressure from the press, it also might push the Police into some action and actually might make them hurry up and prosecute the owners. Make sure you take photos of the injuries caused. You are right, your thread did get highjacked by lots of people with loads of irrelevant posts, it was extremely insensitive and I apologise for my part in it. I hope your little one recovers quickly both emotionally and physically, what an awful thing to have happened, and its a shame that idiots out there rob people of the wonders of ever experiencing the delights of having a dog as a faithful and loving companion, (hopefully in time and with help she will learn to trust again),I hope if they ever get it back, (which I hope god willing they won't) it turns on them and they will experience a tiny amount of what you and your little girl have suffered and have had to go through.
  22. Can't be rsed going back to edit the bad spelling, apologies! Well what the hell, I kind of did anyways, played on my conscience if I've missed any, sorry
  23. The word "Chav" brings to mind Karen Matthews, the mother of Shannon Mathews, to my mind that is what kind of person the word "Chav" really represents and this is the kind of person that I think James is trying to describe, (not including the fact that she possibly had something to do with the disappearance of her daughter) or Waynetta Slob that type of person, now if you are getting into differing levels of chavness now..... I'm not even going to go there! way too confusing I know I'm not one to complain about going off on one, (hehe) but please, all people are asking is that owners of vicious dogs (if you must, for whatever reason) feel the need to keep them, make sure members of the general public are not exposed to any unnecessary attacks, a bloody muzzle and control over your pet, if you can't handle that, why bother keeping one, or is this request infringing upon your human rights to possess such an animal? What about the rights of other people, and other animals, to walk in the park without getting accosted by not only a threatening powerful beast, but their owners too should you complain about their dogs running round and scaring kids, and other dogs, my dog is muzzled at all times when we are out in public so as not to cause alarm, and he is well disciplined, its a shame some selfish people don't think the same way. And what a fuss all of this has kicked up, what because people want to feel safe and want their children to feel safe when out in the public! Racism?? classism?? what next? all because a few people have voiced their opinions about people who own dangerous dogs?
  24. Yeah, I really wanted Clare's team to lose and for Lucinda's to win, even just to see Clare's face! Lindy def on another planet and a legend in her own mind! Mind you they all are up their own backsides, which makes viewing fun! Wish Lucinda would grow some balls though and put the bitchy bullys in their place, would be nice to see her (without tears) really lose her rag at them and shut them up, but I doubt it, not in her nature.
