A guy at work put a St. George's day flag on his desk to be asked to remove it in case it offended anyone who was non-British!! Nuff said! and I will steer clear of this can of worms if at all possible!

Well I'm off to Canada in a few weeks, will let you know! yay! Can't wait. Was meant to go in April but work commitments etc. meant had to leave it until May. :'(
-
How sad am I? I actually have it as my ring tone on my mobile!!
-
Maybe I am mistaken, sorry, XII is that on PS2? (have kind of been out of touch for a while!) Have you watched Advent Children? great film, and more akin to the actual FF games than the Final Fantasy film itself
-
I did move on from them to play all the Devil May Cry games, Soul Reaver etc. and many more of a similar nature, great fun
-
Have to say VII one of my all time favourites, though the one where you had to raise your own chocaboos and the chocaboo racing arena was fun too! I haven't played any in ages though my kids have and have had the PS2 ones which do have beautiful graphics but I just can't seem to get into those ones, Tidus and all those characters. You might like Legend of Legaia if you are into these or Dragon Quest, (the later ones) but still they don't touch FF!
-
Sorry, hi there and welcome to the forum Seph! Have played them over the years and love them all, (well not so much VIII with Squall, all those characters chasing behind me got on my nerves), and the one on PS3 on account I don't have a PS3,
-
Excellent name Seph!! (having just watched final fantasy Advent children last week!) Big fan of the old RPGs! and of course the new ones.

Did anyone catch Apprentice last night?

I used to like Alex, now he's turned out to be a complete tw@t! Claire did my head in, waiting to see what the more quieter members turn out to be like when they get put in charge, reckon we'll see a few fireworks, I did like Simon though sorry his plans got thwarted by Alex and Claire mainly, liked the way Jenny turned so quickly on Claire though, great viewing! -
Sorry, sorry, I take it back, I stand majorly corrected! (re me being the only one (among a few) who seem to be getting offended by it all, apologies X (must learn to shut gob! must learn to shut gob! am doing my lines now!)
-
Have to say, am somewhat surprised at the lack of posts from the usual mob on this subject, but maybe this has all been done too many times before, or perhaps its that they just have nothing to say on the matter and have basically "all gone quiet over there!"
-
As far as I am aware, the word "Nigger" was never initially ever used to describe a colour before it was used as an offensive term for a black person!
-
The word "Nigger" derived from the term negro Steve T and is well known to be a derogatory word for a black person. Other things things like colour of boot polish etc. were then used as reference to how much the colour was like a black person, there was also a wool colour (not that long) ago called "nigger brown" too. I have heard someone try to justify the term "Wog" by saying it meant Westindian Orientated Gentleman. (edited to remove any strong emotionals!)

Thanks guys, think I'll actually start the training a bit earlier next time though! though no time soon! ah yes, now ibuprofen my new best friend! Thought I was a lot fitter than that, did a seriously funny wobbly leg dance as I crossed the finish line and my legs couldn't take any more, they had a mind all of their own and the buggers just refused to hold me up any longer. Have to say I kind of got a bit carried away on the BNP thread earlier, (well my mouth got a bit carried away I should say) am a little heated at times and don't always think before I type! or shoot my mouth off! think I practically accused Kalamitykel of being a member of the BNP, will pm her an apology.
-
Ok ok, point taken, apologies, just getting slightly overheated on this one!
-
And its all gone quiet over there....... actually made a mistake, how can I call Max a closet racist, at least he has the balls to actually say he supports a party that is fundamentally racist! unlike others!
-
Well if that isn't showing support for a particular party (bit of backtracking going on there I fear) what is? @ KK And Max, what is it dear? having a bad day are we? Got bored of bullying other members on the forum did you?
-
KalamityKel Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Quite clearly some ppl have issues that are deeper > than this discussion... sorry to have got you > riled. Generally I just dont like personal > attacks on ppl as has happened here. > > *leaving thread now* You don't like personal attacks on people for genuine reasons but you are ok supporting a political party for hating members of society for no other reason than simply the colour of their skin and ethnicity? mmmmmm! Oh, I'm sorry, have I offended you again?
-
Ted Max Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I stand with KK on this one > > +K Ha, i was going to mention that and make a joke of it, but thought I'd pissed off too many people already lol!
-
Erm...only slightly, I am sorry I don't like racist people very much KK I don't like racists pure and simple, and to me thats what the erm...British National Party are all about, white supremacy, so stick that in your pipe and smoke it!
-
The term sickos was actually aimed at the BNP Party themselves and not aimed at Max and whoever else on here supports the BNP!! Although closet racist was aimed at him.
-
Maximay Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Erm...excuse me Ms Dizzy, but I think you need to > get your facts right! Nothing wrong with the BNP There is nothing wrong with voicing your own opinions as long as you are big enough and ugly enough to take whats thrown back at you when people take offense to what you are saying, KK said "Where did I say they were or were not, as u say, "racist"? I care not either way". y'ok! Am I not entitled to voice my own opinion then on the fact that I find ANYONE who supports the BNP to be misguided for want of a softer word in case sick offends anyone!
-
Its people like you (closet racists) that keep the BNP in power - ))))at Max! and whoever else feels the same way as he does! Sickos!
-
OMG!!! What kind of site have I landed on, are you guyz for real???? Feck this for a laugh!!
