There is heating - if you sit next to a rad in winter it's pumping. But there ain't enough of them and there are massive insulation problems (you can practically hold a conversation with eye contact with anyone in the beer cellar in some parts) I won't go in the winter it's so darn cold -

Did you mean Osmos btw? Took me a while to find it looking for osmote bloody hell it's good tho' Haven't had time to fully engage with it but everything feels just lovely.

Definitely on the ipad, prices are higher than the old days ? but considering the same game on, say, a DS with lesser graphics often costs best part of ?30 compared with the 2-3 on the pad, it?s still an easy bargain. Especially considering the screen and battery life Must try that one out tho

Hi DulwichFox ? glad the account is working out ok ;-) Funnily enough I noticed exactly the same thing last week ? I saw the boats and then when I saw how much of the lake was out of limits, they may as well be free and I?d not bother. But charging ?4 per person, not even per boat, is beyond cheeky

Everyone posting is a bit "me", no? I have no problem witn people talking about themselves...but as a first post it's a bit gauche My point was that if everyone who joined adopted a tactic of starting a thread to announce the fact it would be pretty grim fare. I have no beef with the op. I have no idea who they are what they think.. Which is sort of my point. I might have been harsh with the "screaming me" phrase but really..

Not sure i would like EVERYONE who joins the edf to start a thread announcing as much Call me a square from the past but I like to think people read the forum and know the score before posting on a thread they are interested in, instead of screaming "me!"

And most of them have pretty extensive social welfare programmes as well - so I don't think it's the dependancy culture argument that's the root cause I don't believe many of those countries have a "remove from society" programme either Nor are any of those countries without their own problems. We can learn from some of their success stories, but you have to acknowledge the wider picture and not cherry pick data
