  2. Not a bad start in spite of the fact I didn't register properly until after the first couple of games had already been played.
  3. Belgium - not as good as the sum of their parts
  4. I agree with your comments re sterling, all pace and no end result, decision making is not his strong point.

  6. Bloody laptop, didn't save my predictions for France and Switzerland, had France to win 2 -1 and the Swiss to win one nil. Oh well it's now saved the rest of my predictions, hopefully some points on the board later.
  7. Quite frankly, I don't have time to listen to the ramblings of a self obsessed tool. The fact that he's gone to Scotland is a blessing for the premiership. As otta quite rightly points out, he's a cock

Keeps the head > screwed like the last season and he will run amok. Alternatively a cynic might argue that he didn't think he could cut in the premier league, and jumped ship as soon as he could. The Premier league will be all the poorer for the lack of his wonderful philosophical musings.

  11. I don't believe I said that exercise was bad for you, I said that running on concrete or tarmac, and taking in toxic fumes whilst breathing heavily as a result of vigorous exercise isn't good for the body. I didn't say exercise in general was bad for you. Both Jah and I expressed opinions contrary to others posted on here and got exactly the kind of response I should have expected

When he was out jogging, that's when. You beat me to it Jah. I agree physical activity and caring for your health are commendable but jogging on pavements next to cars and lorries spewing out exhaust fumes while you are running next to them, hardly conducive to well being is it?
  13. Cheers all, many thanks to RD for all your hard work

  15. Finders keepers - chairman of the board
  16. I'd be pissed off if my team had been rolled over by a relegated team reduced to 10 men. Hilarious, always in our shadow

  18. Where was Geoff Hurst last night, is he unwell?
  19. Is it me or were last night's celebrations at West ham a bit chaotic?
  20. Bugger, I had the west ham game down to draw 2 -2, but after a game like the one I've just witnessed I can't begrudge them the win on such an historic night
  21. Could it have been avoided if they'd arrived earlier especially given the circumstances surrounding tonight's game?
  22. Ko at West ham delayed, good or bad for the home side?
  23. Well done Leicester, won at home yesterday in the style befitting champions
