  1. Abramovichs sins are far worse than the purchase of council houses and if you don't already know that you should, as for Citys owners they have been linked to human rights abuses back home. Still think its ok for these people to be involved in football?

The man is a bloody crook, regardless of his so called "good deeds", the owners of City are hardly squeaky clean either.

Guillem Balague when asked about this rumour last night stated neither was anywhere near the truth, and of all of the broadcasters out there, he's the one that I take heed of as 9 times out of 10 he's spot in respect of Spanish football.

While I wouldn't like to have the kind of backers City have, they have at least got their business done early. As for Wenger, I'm not sure who would come in if he was shown the door or who is available. I have no great expectations this season at all. I've not felt like that since the dark days of the 80's. I have a feeling City may take the title this season.

We really know how to push the boat out.

Signing a new deal simply ups the price of a player when he wants to leave. Rooneys conduct is not far behind Suarez, and a repeat of what he did a few years back in case United fans have forgotten.
  14. I obviously realise Utd have a similar situation with the angry and confused pieman. However, if he plays in the Charity Shield match this weekend I don't think he'll get anything remotely like a standing ovation, infact more likely the opposite. Watch and learn Liverpool fans Very hypocritical, I seem to recall that the last time he tried to get away and was paid to stay, you all backed him to the hilt, no double standards here then. Watch and learn indeed.

That coming from a BALE FC fan is hilarious. Obviously touched a nerve. Never mind, Thursday night football beckons.

  17. Couple of things on Higuain and the Suarez debacle. 1. most Arsenal fans knew we wouldn't get Higuain. 2. Most, in fact the vast majority, don't want Suarez. Both of these seem to gather momentum when the season ticket renewals were announced. Funny that. I find the Cesc to the Mancs far more amusing/interesting, coupled with the fact that they, like us, have not done anything in the transfer window thus far. Could it be that Moyes has no where near the pull/kudos that old whisky nose had?

Deluded man that you are I think I said ealier on here I don't go on like we'ev won the cup, but you deluded buffoons at the shite hole jumping for joy after one of your own has tweeted that NUFC had equalised was pure solid comedy gold. And if you EVER win a title again in your life time, maybe then we'll take you semi seriously. Anyway lots of ITV4 viewing for you in the coming season, enjoy watching Bale FC won't you dear boy.

  21. My point is this, here is a guy that told United he wanted to move on because he didn't like the direction they were going in, and Fergie stood for it. Lets not forget the stars he's kicked into to touch for lesser crimes, and he stood still for his outrageous demands. That wasn't a good move for football or for the club, and he's doing it again. I certainly don't think he's the answer to our problems, he's got baggage and we don't need anymore. Plus if Wengers scouting network is as good as we're lead to belive I'm sure there are far more options out there without the baggage/expense.

Loyal players don't exist, and he is a prime example, he's shafted his current club twice, and why Fergie bowed to his last demand is beyond me. I hope we fcuk him right off.
  23. Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has been given the go ahead to move for Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney. Gunners chief executive Ivan Gazidis says the club can afford the England international The above was taken from the BBC Football gossip site. I genuinely hope we don't go for Shrek, this is a man who was famously "once ablue, always a blue" and shafted his current club twice for a pay increase. You're best suited where you are son.
