But we ARE top of the league currently, and do have a paper thin squad with loads of injuries and "unproven" players in the Prem. What a shit start to the season, a real crisis at the Arsenal.
  2. Top of the league we're having a laugh, paper thin squad, we're having a laugh.
  3. I've been saying this for years. It's about time the British media, football authorities, FA, and League cottoned on and stopped laying the blame at the door of "Johnny Foreigner", an easy scapegoat, when the problem lays in their own backyard. Patrick Vieira says coaching is the problem for England youngsters Patrick Vieira says England's failures at major tournaments are down to coaching standards rather than foreign talent playing in the Premier League. Football Association chairman Greg Dyke recently stated that the national side need more English players starting regularly in the top flight. But former France midfielder Vieira said: "The problem is deeper than just saying there are too many foreigners. "The methods in England haven't changed as much as the game has changed."

Still want him launched out the door for being a prize bell end though.

Negative but true, Peckham was/is nasty and is East Dulwich is far from "lovely". I also owned a shop in Peckham for 7 years which simply reinforced my belief the place was a hole.

  7. Hope Wenger puts the kids out again and we put CSKA Fulham out
  8. Why would anyone want to claim they live in Peckham when they don't? I went to Peckham Manor school in the late 60's and early 70's, Peckham was nasty then and it still is. But then East Dulwich was crap then and it ain't much better now.

Coming from a United fan that's rich. And if you read my post properly, hard I know with the red mist in your eyes, but I do mention our performance against the orcs. As for inferior, what I saw yesterday was very inferior by your team. Here's one just for you. What's the difference between Prince Andrew and United? Andrew has never regretted parting with Fergie.

I think it was the usual anti Arsenal thing as I don't recall him ever making such comments in respect of foreign players who've joined other clubs, just saying. And by the way he played in Germany for a few years so the winter thing doesn't wash.

RD did you ever mention these factors when the likes of Ronaldo et al came to Prem, or was your opinion coloured by the fact that he was playing for united? I don't recall you bringing this up when the likes of Oscar, Ramires, Hazard,Aguero,Silva and numerous other johnny foreigners came to the Prem. Or is it just a United anti Arsenal bias coming to the fore. By the way Sunderland has more than its fair share of clod hoppers, and I have to say i don't share your pessimism in respect of the little man. We shall see.

I mention it because of the inane comments that some have made on here. He's class and showed why he's one of the top 10 players in the world. Is that a good enough point for you or do need more? The fact that he was outstanding in La Liga says it all, the quality of the football is far better than the Prem and he shone over there as he did today. Its called consistency Alan. Oh and class.
  20. Ozil eh, not bad for a player "unproven" in the Premier League. I see the Mancs needed a dodgy decision to reduce the opposition to 10 men. Bet that shocked a lot of people.

We'll see, Bergkamp, Henry, Pires, and many many more were unproven in the Prem, including Vidic Ronald etc. Are you sure you're not just pissed off cos he was yet another player who didn't join Moyes project?
