You're always good comedy value RD, a bit like the odious RVP singing "glory, glory Man United", it must come from the little boy inside him, which doesn't know any better.

Very selective memorys methinks. TH14 will always be a hero in my eyes, just as King Kenny will always be a hero to Liverpool fans, despite being responsible for putting the club through one of the worst periods of their history. It's all subjective.

Oh dear, I sense yet > more revolting Gooners... It'll be interesting to see just how much humour you find in your clubs progression in the Champions League. As foor revolting Goonners, at least we won't go the route of showing our disatisfaction by forming our version of FC United of Manchester, or wearing Norwich scraves. Nobody has the god given right to win, and I agree with Straferjack on that point. Well done to the travelling fans, who showed more passion and spirit than the 11 on the pitch.

Vermaelen has been poor since acquiring the armband but even he wouldn't want to go the West 'am! Hats off to Bradford, they showed what it's all about. Gervinho some how managed to put a shot wide from a foot out, as for Chamakh, nuff said. The only player who came away with any pride last night was Wilshere.

I watched the Manc derby and was pleased that two mercenaries were involved in giving the third goal away, Clichy careless, and Na$ri cowardly. Just a shame the biggest traitor got the deflected goal to settle it. Is there any truth in the rumour that he stooped to collect the coins that had been thrown on the pitch? Joking aside I actually thought the blue half were just slightly better in the game. Balotelli should never turn out for City if Mancini has anything about him.

Wonderful documentary on TV lasting featuring Fabrice Muamba. What a lovely positive guy, he's breath of freash air in an otherwise egotistical, greedy, self centred environment. I wish the guy all the best for the future. It was lovely to see others in the game of football, including Paddy Vieira, talking about him in such glowing terms. The quote from the cardiologist that helped save his life was especially touching. When Muamba came out of his coma, the doc went to his bedside held his hand, whispered into his ear "I hear you're a good footballer" to which Muamba replied "I try". Doc said it brought atear to his eye.

I'm struggling to understand what Wenger was trying to prove last night. We had a real opportunity to top the group but in his wisdom he put out a side of second stringers and unknowns. Not that we are likely to progress much beyond the next round anyway in our current malaise, but we are lacking any commitment from a host of players, combined with the boards compulsion with finance at the expense of all else. If this continues and we fail to qualify for Europe, the board may face a huge financial problem by missing out on the revenue that generates.

Wenger has a tough job on his > hands to get things right. Do you think he's up to > it or is it time to bade him au revoir? I think Wenger has become a mouthpiece for the board and I don't think even he believes the lines he trots out anymore. While I accept he's been a fantastic manager for us, I think a fresh approach is required. Not sure who the club could get to come in and turn things around. But as I said in my previous post, it's not just Wenger and the board, and there many who believe it is, I think the players have a lot to answer for. Until they start delivering, the question of a new manager is almost a side issue. I think things will get better, but Champions League is not a given anymore. That in itself is a huge issue for a club that is still in debt as a result of the new stadium, and continues to publish attendance figures which seem to be at odds with number of bums on seats. Love the club with a vengance which makes the current situation all the harder to take!!!!!

Well done Swansea, outplayed the Arsenal in every department, only the keeper can hold his head high. Massive chnage needed and not I'm not just talking about the board. The players have no passion or spirit in their performances, so it's not just the manager or the board. The players need to take a huge portion of the blame for the current malaise. Almost as bad the nightmare reign of Terry Neil. I'm not sure it's fair to say that chucking at money at it (buying players), is the be and end all. Ah well.

Popular the Stones mat still be, but they just don't cut it anymore, unlike giants of jazz and soul. But even in the soul genre, there are some that should have given up years ago, Martha Reeves being an example of same.

The best. I saw them at Earls Court 1976, thought they were great, but I remember saying at the time before the gig, this lot are over the hill. They really should give it a rest now.

Perhaps I'm being naive.

A verbal agreemnet is binding in law, if he won't pay up just take stuff off the shelves to the value of your goods. Remember he will have added a mark up to his goods. The moral of the story is don't give anything to anyone without payment up front.
