maternity allowance - self-employed
Quaywegirl replied to alib's topic in The Family Room Discussion
Clare, re SMP and Limited co's. I have just finished 39 weeks of SMP and I am self employed via my own ltd co. Your company can claim the SMP payments back from HMRC and if your co only has you as an employee then HMRC will also pay a handling fee of about 4.5%. You can claim online so you shouldn't even need to pay your accountant to do this for you. You can do all of this via the HMRC website. It's well worth doing. -
Is Crystal Palace one o'clock club worth going to?

Take the 363 from Barry Road Edited to correct above, the 363 actually goes from Peckham Rye (bus stop near the intersection with Barry Road) -
Like Chantelle mine dropped his at 10m, he's now 15m and I'm finding if he sleeps for more than 1.5h at lunch that he wakes up at 5am the next morning so I think I may have to cut down the lunch time nap. I really miss the early days!

I stayed here for a night while walking the Thames path http://www.fordsfarm.co.uk/. The weather ended up being a wash out so we spent a long leisurely lunch at a local pub, The Lord Nelson and the food was fantastic. Marlene the B&B owner drove us there and picked us up as we had arrived on foot. There's also a really beautiful water cress farm at the end of the road and plenty of other local walks. It's about an hour bus ride from London on the OxfordTube.

Quaywegirl replied to Clare11's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
If you're happy to drink on the go, the new van/stand on the cnr of Northcross Road and Lordship Lane is fantastic. He's only there during the week though ;.
