I would like to buy an eastern European country which ones are you selling as I intend to set up an independent anarchist state for those of a sensitive nature, there will be no banks I will just take everyone's money, it will be pram free and there will be no nick knack shops, there will be no variety of food or people so no complaints. Everyone will be between 25 -35 so let me know quick so utopia can be in sight and we can stop the moaning on here for those who don't fit into said categories Thank you

What Time Does It All Kick-Off Tomorrow Guys?
ontheedge replied to Tony.London Suburbs's topic in The Lounge
"oh my god anarchy lives" in your dreams most definetly not in england not a hope of it. Naom Chomsky may not be the greatest of liberals but he is definetly one of the greatest intellects around and I guess he would probably be having a little chuckle into his hot chocolate tonight at the ascertations of the belief that something was acheived today other than pure vandalism. I thought about going along today but could not be part of something that gets hijacked by thugs, there must be a better way. -
"ground control to major tom" totally agree with villager and wonder is london the right place for such sensitive souls to live. Rudeness is not necessarily right but if you want to survive in this city without the need for valium you have to put up with it. Maybe some gradual exposure to the reality of your environs is in order eg. using public transport as schools finish, a few trips to the supermarket at 6pm.

And what's the problem with having socialism as an Ideal. One of the best things I was taught at school was aim for the sky and you'll hit the roof aim for the roof and you'll hit the floor & also the world needs thinkers we all thought the nun said tinkers as we irish have a problem with our ths but it didn't change the message. We are all needed and here for a reason and life path I believe in Sartre and we are all fated for our destenies. As a friend of mine used to say f***k the begrudgers his philosophy has not yet been documented!!!

Woman stabbed in Peckham last night (Lounged)
ontheedge replied to jumpinjourno's topic in The Lounge
Tony shock me and tell me that you were invited to Britain to do a job that British people thought was beneath them, hoping to give you're family a better life. Welcomed with open arms as you came off that boat in your Sunday best,to be spat upon in the street as you did the job well with a smile that noone else would do. To read signs when you honestly tried to pay you're way, no irish ,no dogs, no blacks. The parents came here proud, their children became disillusioned and their children became disenfranchised, Imperialism has a price to pay and maybe it will be a few generations before the debt can be paid. But we have to take responsibility and own up to being a huge part of the problem. I am not British but I have lived here pretty cosily for twenty years despite experiencing a certain amount of covert racism (Irish during the troubles) but I have chosen to ignore it as the people who directed it at me mean nothing to me so why should their words. But then again I do not stand out as different, so appear to fit in pretty well as long as I keep my mouth shut. By the way have you heard the one about paddy irish man.......... -
Tony London Suburbs you are really beginning to worry me having read your posts on a few threads. Ther reality is the majority of us on this forum have chosen to live in the area and could move to the suburbs if we so chose to, and adopted an idealic view of a Britain that does not exist and Never has. Why would a White fellow as you call yourself feel a need to trawl through a Black website to search as to whether black males have praised the attributes of white females. Repeat you are worrying me, as to what you're agenda is and where you're affiliations are I don't know. Why can't everyone accept everyone for the person they are.

Totally agree with Neros post, it really galls me when people just drop litter, and it does make me wonder is that what they do in their own homes. It shows a total disrepect for their environment. I work in a hospital and have seen people just drop sweet papers in the corridors and have often called after them to say I think you've dropped something to get the unembarrased response no it's ok. It's unbelievable.
