Has anyone dealt with severe infant reflux?
loveED86 replied to Candice007's topic in The Family Room Discussion
My 3 year old was very colicky as a baby, I was told reflux and she was prescribed medication but did not help, turned out she had a cows milk allergy and was put on prescribed milk at 12 weeks, was a different baby overnight! It may be more than reflux, my daughter had a blotchy rash mainly on face, runny poo?s after all feeds but this was put down to her being breastfed, screamed at night, took ages to settle her, If you?re bottlefeeding I?ve read Aptamil comfort milk is meant to be good for reflux babies, good luck, hope you have a happier baby soon! -
We have a similar problem. Our little girl who has just turned 3 will not fall asleep unless I am sat in the room with her, as soon as I leave the room she follow me downstairs, she then wakes in the middle of night to get into bed with us. We now have baby number 3 on the way so really want to nip this in the bud! Any tips much appreciated!

Robbin Yes I was looking again after 5 months as I had forgot about my original post and had other stuff that I wanted to get rid of, Is this ok with you?! I would not mind paying if I felt I had a substantial amount worth the ?15. -

Yes I think EDG may have a shorter waiting list than other nurseries in the area. Have you tried Early Bloomers, lovely smaller setting more of a home from home environment.

My 2 year old has been sleeping in cotbed with sides but now want to take sides off so she can use as a bed but need to find bedguards that will fit as cotbeds are lower/smaller than normal single beds. What bedguards do you use? Thanks
-
Hi Bumblebee 88 My 2 year old is on the waiting list when I last checked number 9, shes been on the list for a couple of months, I dont think much movement in nurseries until Summer when the older children move to school unless people move out of the area etc.

Would there be any chance of these sessions being done on other days. I don't work Mondays and would have loved to bring my 2 year old to this. -

Bellenden Bear-Thanks for that, thats very useful, will look into Bessemer. Teddyboy23-Unfortunately I cant rely on relatives as they are also working/have other commitments but can sometimes help as and when. edanna- I am thinking of doing both so we still have the nursery link and hopefully can use during holidays but I know nurseries like set days throughout the year. It all thoughts for now-I have just worked out dd would not be able to start until September 2020 as its the term following their 3rd birthday!

Hi alex_b Thank you for your input.
