  1. Impressed with the website and good to see it is up and running-makes it seem all so real now! We are lucky that another school is opening in the area for 120 children to attend. I have made my application for my daughter and look forward to the open day :)
  2. I live in a victorian conversion and lets just say my neighbour downstairs and I might as well be living together! Every movement is heard and you can even hear when the light/plug socket switch is pressed! no soundproofing here whatsoever but other conversions may not be so bad especially if there is some sort of soundproofing.
  3. I wanted to share with you all a website I have come across, you register your email and postcode, if your postcode comes up you win. There is the daily jackpot, stackpot and survey draw, you have to actually be logged in to claim your prize but they do email you a daily reminder. Winnings not as much as the normal lotto but its free! One of todays winning postcodes is SE21 8BA so this could have been you!! check the website out, of course its up to you if you join but I am in! It states under rules The more players there are in a postcode the more chance that postcode will be drawn so spread the word if you decide to join! http://freepostcodelottery.com/?ref=322008
  4. More 8am-6pm childcare needed in the school holidays in the area so another for this idea plus the kids would love it-all round win! :)
  5. My daughter goes to gumboots at the community centre, Darrell road in the summer holidays, JAM will be providing a holiday club on red post hill, herne hill this feb half term, Dulwich hamlet sports club (next to sainsburys) have a holiday club most holidays. I also normally end up taking leave, mother and aunt also help out.
  6. PM sent, I have whole ballet uniform for sale inc shoes.
  7. ahh so thats what it is ..an italian cafe I was peering over this morning from the busstop opposite. must pop in sometime :)
  8. Navy shorts and plain t-shirt I believe, No branded items of clothing.
  9. I grew up on Ivanhoe road Nothing but happy memories :) Old neighbours are still there and they still love it too!
  10. Same problem Ondine road (top end near adys road) At least 2 neighbours who leave their dogs out in garden and often bark morning and night for long periods. At least twice this week Ive been woken first thing in the morning. If you cant be bothered to take care or train your dogs properly, dont put that impact on others!
  11. Parking is a big problem already, I have a friend who lives opposite the leisure centre, Gym users park at the back of her flats (which is for residents only) so she comes home from work and has to park further up cp road.It would be completely naive to think there would be no problems although it certainly makes sense they have included basement parking in their planning permission. If I could afford it Id probably buy one tho:)just saying!
  12. I have posted on Haberdashers thread but those of you supporting Charters bid (or both)may be interested in reading this.. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2691813/Waving-goodbye-Tory-veteran-Ken-Clarke-prepares-end-ministerial-career-Cameron-reshuffle-promotes-women.html
  13. So Michael Gove is being replaced ,I wonder what affect this will have on new socondary school proposal! http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2691813/Waving-goodbye-Tory-veteran-Ken-Clarke-prepares-end-ministerial-career-Cameron-reshuffle-promotes-women.html

  15. Hi Thanks for all recommendations! I have had a look at best leg but would prefer something earlier in the day so we have the rest of the day to do other things after class.
  16. I am looking for a sports/athletic class for my 9 year old daughter to join (shes mainly into football, running but I think up for any sports activity) She has been doing performing arts classes since 4 but would like a change! Also has expressed an interest in Taekwondo/Karate. Preferably sat mornings/early afternoons in East Dulwich or very near. If you can recommend anything please let me know! If we dont find anything she will stick with performing arts! Thanks
  17. Ok great thanks-not sure we can commit to the sunday matches which is a shame.
  18. What exactly are the times for training and matches and where are you based in east Dulwich.
  19. My daughter would love to join a local football team but sunday morning for matches is inconvenient for us as we go to church.
  20. I agree Otta A nunhead school in Dulwich? So would that mean the children in Dulwich who live by the hospital would not get in because they dont live in Nunhead-doesnt make sense?! My daughter will be starting secondary school in September 2016 and I am of course supporting the need for a new secondary school.
  21. wont be able to attend will be at work, gutted! kalamitykel-If you are going please can you update us on here
