Word, Cassius. I know some guys in their mid 20's who are definitely 'middle-aged'.

if it causes an obstruction it needs to be trimmed back, when it rains the branches gain wait and hang outwards so if you brush past them you get a soaking, also this makes less room for (say) parents with prams, basic obligation is to keep it in order. having said that, must trim mine it's been a few years.

I have a guy who attends meetings I run each week and I just texted him 'This is important you are the stakeholder and I will come to YOU for answers if this delivery fails, so PAY ATTENTION'. I had the txt drafted, and also an email exactly the same. when he was 'lost in Backberry' mode I sent them. He looked up sharpish but could say nowt. Thing is , while sending both to him, I was guilty of phone gazing for a short while too.. He pays attention now, a very passive sponsor though !

What Bossman SHOULD have done is explain WHY 'BCA' is better than 'ABC' in his opinion, not treat it as a contest and also allow for difference in style. Inexperienced Boss perhaps, or, Katie, your text was really bad and you just can't see it (but we know that's not the case). As a Boss you can impose what you want but the things you explain / qualify are the ones that get accepted.

Don't worry about it mate just fill your skip. But be sharpish the heavier it is the tougher it is to move. And if they give you any grief you can wave the permit in their face, in fact you may want to copy it and paste a copy to the skip or nearest lampost for their info.
