If posters want to accuse others of not being genuine, either as to who they say they are, or in the information being posted, why not accuse them directly via a Personal Message ? Rather than playing judge and jury and condemning them publicly. Basically it's like calling someone a liar, which, surely, you need to be pretty damned sure about don't you - and what's with having to advertise publicly that you're calling someone a liar ? Weird.

I think if Roy Jones gets a hiding from BHop, that'll be it, I don't think he's gonna want to carry on making a spectacle of himself buy fighting people who's league he is not in.

what's the difference, functionally speaking, between iPhone and 'Blackberry'-type devices ? Yeah it looks like Hopkins is the man in this contest, he's old yes but he's way up the LHW rankings and bizzarely still performing amazingly. I just hope it's a clean fight. I'd prefer to see Alan Green and Hopkins, but I understand it's about the money.

I don't have a dog and never have but the thought of taking one for a walk and being in fear for it's safety when certain breed/owner combinations are spotted is absolutely dreadful !! I didn't know the drug testing situation in pro-boxing was SO dire. Mayweather will know this (that it's so dire, NOT that I didn't know about it !). Previously I thought Mayweather was just being an @ss with Manny Pac, but in my mind now he has a bit more slack for this kind of 'game' because it is concievable that he knows of something (or has heard) which causes him concern. I cut even more slack for Mayweather v Mosley because Mosley has already been caught for something. Maybe this is a new path that the higher-ranked bouts will take if there really IS suspicions about who is or is not doping ? And if so, maybe it paves the way for a coherent and enforceable procedure in the pro ranks.

Shame, he had a large family I think. ED was a different place then IMO, bit more 'basic' one might say.

Down Northcross Rd there used to be a takeaway / curry house, I can't remember the name but it was run by a little friendly Indian (subcontinent) guy called Farouk. It wa spoistioned approx. where the Drum was. As it got late (after pub closing) you could order your food and sit down until very late ie. 2-3 am, I think he'd sort you out with a beer too, so it was a kind of late night drinking option. He was a character I think he got done by the VAT and had to borrow all the furniture (rather than buy it) so that when he got busted they couldn't remove those chattels. There was a cobbler a coupel of doors away too, lovely (I think) Cypriot chap.

One of the up-sides is that you have learned things which you can take them into the next relationship (though don't rush), you will be a more complete and richer human for it.

Mosley wants to get it on so fair play to him if he's happy and confident to do the needles thing. And fair play to Floyd, if he does follow-through with this. After this (being greedy now) I'd like to see Floyd v Paul Williams (asuming PBF wins). I suspect there'll be some raised eyebrows in the direction of Manny Pac if the Floyd/Mosley contest does occur and you never know, there may be more to the allegations / speculation than we (the punters) are aware of right now... Jeremy - I think if Floyd takes his concerns up with Nevada State that would (if they amended their procedures to suit his reqts) only address them for THAT state and for Floyd's specific reqts. As Conto says (see link Keef provided) there needs to be a broader adoption of a single procedure/process and the most logical way seems to be that the existing amateur method (with agreed modifications) is deployed. The politics around getting this ratified by the various governing bodies is potentially a monstrous obstacle. It could take years. Only thing I can think would make it happen quickly (quicker) is pressure from US Govt (since most/all of the organisations are US based) OR a major expose of a boxer having taken PEDs or other banned substances. For example, if Manny Pac was somehow exposed just before / after a fight with Floyd the high profile of the contest (they say it could be the biggest money fight ever), the 'good name' of boxing would potentially be tarnished to such a degree that there may suddenly be a unanimous collaboration across all the organisations to install standardised and measured testing in the professional ranks.
