Looks like in front of ST Thomas' hospital Westminster Bridge. The hospital was against the cycle lane because of danger to patients; started a petition etc but cycle commando won

And yet the Dulwich Village junction is being endlessly re/designed with no end to money or efforts.

so? Yeah sure. Millions of pounds spent on ltn wouldn't fix a simple wooden bridge in the park. But of course

The topic is why million of pounds are wasted on ltn and yet a simple bridge in Dulwich Park which is used by many in the community is left rotting so stop commenting. why bother?

The bridge is"rotten"? How? 2 million pounds has been wasted on so-called ltn, a fraction of this money could have fixednthe wooden bridge in Dulwich Park - so families, children, visitors etc.can benefit. You are asking me if I am ok"?

😀 I want local residents ( myself included) friends and family and visitors & such to access the bridge in Dulwich Park - but it is closed cause the work unknown to anyone. @Earl Aelfheah maybe you know more?

We have - contacted Helen Hayes, Andy Simmonds and Catherine Rose (who does not reply to any emails full stop). Yeah. So millions of pounds are wasted - (and apparently councils have no money) - on never-ending-redesign-of Dulwich Village junction for rich people. The council money waste is spectacular. And yet the bridge across the pond in Dulwich Park is closed, rotting away for over a year - but but who cares, even though is such a lovely spot and a local attraction

Millions of pounds have been spent on design, redesign and re-redesign etc. of closed Dulwich Village junction - and yet the bridge in Dulwich Park has been closed for over a year now. Whatever the initial ptoblem was it has been made ten times worst by doing nothing. Why there is enough money to waste on vanity projects like the DV junction and LTN and yet not enough to do something for the community??

This is completely out of any kind of control

So the works supposed to end on 8th of June and of course it has not happened. There is now a new hole dug out by power network - would be boring if it's thames water all the time - next to a church where the turn to College Rd is. And to add to the misery in the area, Dartmouth Rd will be closed from 30th of June. Till 17th of July. Not thst snyone believes in the end date.
