  1. cleared, bloody Indonesian spammers!
  2. It was moved because it's not really an East Dulwich issue, it's a call for people to sign a petition against fracking.
  3. message from Village Ward Cllrs Mitchell and Lyons regarding Townley Road/EDG junction http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/read.php?5,1455553
  4. Locking this and linking to the "Consultation on ?improving? the junction of East Dulwich Grove, Townley Road and Green Dale2 http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/read.php?5,1426742,page=1 so that the discussion doesn't split into two areas.
  5. It might be worth giving it back to the parcel delivery company to deliver to the right place, this person might not even read the forum.
  6. Don't worry, your message is in the Lost and Found section, it was moved as it's not an East Dulwich issue.
  7. Could you explain what redirecting your connection means? What exactly are you seeing? What URL are you looking at? DO you know what your IP is? The more information about the symptoms I get the more chance I have of working out the issue.
  8. Sorry about that, I was out last night. I can't block their IP as it also blocks loads of people. I'm having to gather evidence and submit it to BT and the police to get it dealt with, both of which take time.
  9. Hmm, I can't see it, maybe I was thinking of someone else's post. I'll have to check later.
  10. It's in the Lounge
  11. No more posts about a reverend/vicar person please. I'm not sure what the underlying personal reason is for people posting those messages but there's something not quite right about it, so no more.
  12. Ahh, that is most useful thanks. Technically an IP block allocation is a range e.g. 213.98.56.00/255 (so numbers from 0 to 255 at the end) and I wasn't blocking a range. So the lonely troll is a BT Total Broadband Option 1 customer which means I can drop them a line and have a word. Thanks for pointing that out DulwichFox, I think you may have found out the reason.
  13. Is that the Cloudflare error message? So to clarify what happened. I banned someone (who was quite lonely) by blocking their single IP using the forum's software. A few people with BT IP addresses said they had issues posting, viewing etc. I removed the IP ban and it seemed to be ok. I had to ban said person again so I blocked their IP using a different method, CloudFlare A few people with BT IP addresses said they were being blocked by CloudFlare I've now removed the CloudFlare block. It seems that the BT's DNS are giving people (in the same area?) the same IP address, or that the lookup table DNS is confusing BT's IP as the same. Or something else. I'm still scratching my head over this one.
  14. Ok, maybe I should have stated what's useful to help me find the root cause rather than people telling me things like BT are a major ISP, or unnecessary tracert/ping results. I do appreciate the effort though. So please let me know if you get blocked, what you are blocked from (the whole site, certain links, posting messages, PMs etc), what you see when you're blocked (a screenshot would be lovely), your IP address (both what's on the screen and by typing in 'what's my ip' to Google) and the time it happens. The more I get the more useful it is. Unless you were affected please don't tell me you access is ok. @edhistory, I suggest you contact Cloudflare and ask them, but you really don't need to be paranoid about them, they help the forum run.
  15. As I said before it does seem to be an issue with BT users, for some reason systems (both the forum's own and cloud flare) wants to block people from BT. Dulwich Fox, again thanks for trying to help but you're confusing the issue with talk of "a tracert needs to be done". Random trace routes won't help and it's pointless me doing one.
  16. What issue did you find Dulwich Fox?
  17. Hi alice, I have no idea who your friend is. Please could you PM me their email address so I can look into it. @DulwichFox, please could you add your message to the Blocked IP thread, thanks.
  18. Please could someone take a screen shot of the message they see and attach it to a post so I can see it.
  19. I appreciate the efforts to help DulwichFox but your posts are making incorrect assumptions and confusing things. My spidey senses are telling me this has something to do with BT IP addresses.
  20. It's not the local IP that blocks people, but yes CloudFlare could be reason although that has been checked and we're still monitoring it.
  21. I don't know KidKruger . Feel free to continue to test post to this message and send any blocked IPs to the email address. I can't reply to the emails but thank you for sending them, they all help.
  22. This seems to be fixed now as I'm not getting any more reports of any issues. ------- Sorry but for some reason a lot of you are getting the message that your IP address is banned. You've not been banned and we're looking into it. If you are getting that message please email admin@eastdulwichforum.co.uk with your ip address https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=whats%20my%20ip I don't usually read emails but will take a look today.
  23. I've tried something else, in the list of blocked IPs there were a couple that had a space at the front, this may have been causing issues. I'm struggling to find a common link between the IPs at the moment that will help me get to the bottom of this. Please let me know if you still have problems, and if you are please send me your IP by Private Message.
  24. All I can think is that I blocked the IP of a certain lonely person and that caused an issue. Sorry about that but glad it's back up.
  25. So if you're still having this issue, please go straight to https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=whats%20my%20ip and let me know your IP By the way, I don't read my emails so PM's the best way to get me (or via here).
