I've made a change to the SPF record to see if that helps, please let me know if they start coming through after 14:00 today (Thursday 6th Nov). I'm also removing a few posts from this thread to keep it succinct, I am grateful but I want to focus on getting this issue fixed. I know people are not receiving emails to their hotmail accounts but would now like to know if that has changed in the last day.

Hi What happens when you try to upload? Do you get a message saying you are not allowed to upload photos?

Thanks Penguin68 IP's not blacklisted outside of Hotmail, I cannot investigate it inside Hotmail. Adding the eastdulwichforum.co.uk to the safe senders list may work, so it's worth getting people to add it. Out of interest there's 14,812 active users with hotmail accounts. The forum sends out about 4,000+ emails per day but excess is not a reason to block emails. Azalea, that maybe unconnected to this but thank you for letting me know.

It seems like East Dulwich Forum emails (e.g. you have a PM, registration, lost password, there's a reply to your post) are being blocked by Hotmail and users with hotmail.co.uk or hotmail.com email addresses aren't receiving them. Unfortunately Microsoft's email Sender ID verification system http://www.microsoft.com/mscorp/safety/content/technologies/senderid/wizard/ has been down for maintenance for a while so I can't investigate. In the meantime can you try adding @eastdulwichforum.co.uk to your safe senders list in Hotmail, that might work. If anyone has any other suggestions that may help please let me know.

This means pages go through a provider, Cloudflare, who caches pages, increases speed & security, blocks spam (hopefully) and a few other things. The idea is that the forum should be faster and more secure but if you have any issues such as pages not being shown or the forum doesn't work as you would expect please let me know.

Not sure this is fair on the person involved. If they were in on this thread then fair enough but it's attracting unwanted attention to them.

There is a difference between councillors and politicians. Anyway I totally understand you're trying to get through the fluff, I would too, but I'm aiming it at people like Beryl how lie that they are new to the thread and start throwing accusations about individual councillors receiving payments. If they have the evidence to support that then take it to the proper authorities, but please do not use the forum to spurt out accusations of illegal behaviour.

There's obviously some councillor bashing going on as well some lying and stirring (see Beryl's post). I understand it's a topic close to people's heart but please keep it clean and truthful, and remember you can contact the councillor(s) directly and you can organise a public meeting to speak and discuss this face to face.

Sorry that facility's not available but you could start a no show facility by adding "noshow" to your post e.g. Admin was a noshow So if people search on noshow http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/search.php?5,search=noshow then they would appear.

Hmm I don't know, I get an email when I get a PM, so it's definitely working. Check your spam folder, I recently found out that my spam emails were automatically deleted (rather than going into a spam folder) so I was blissfully unaware of lots of messages. I changed a setting on my email providers' settings and bingo, I now get hundreds of spam emails into my spam folder.

I thought it was spam or there was something odd about it, the way it was written was nonsensical and so I removed it.

It's called a spam attack, it's better to report one of them than post an "come on admin.." type post. We don't constantly read the forum looking for spam, we rely heavily on the good natured users to let us know.
