  1. 19:45, it's out again by 4 mins.
  2. ianr Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Admin, has it ever got as far as a solicitor's > letter? Sorry this got lost in the flood. No, there hasn't been solicitor's letters but I have been contacted by the police about complaints they've had. Yes, they and I know it's not criminal, but in order to keep the peace we decided that the removal of some posts would be a good idea.
  3. I know you have sent me a PM. Before I get back to you please could you edit your posts that break the rules? Clue: "- Do not repetitively post about you services offered, this includes continuously offering your services to people with "I've PM'd you mate", "thanks for the recommendation" and "I can do that for you" messages." and http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/search.php?12,search=saied,page=1,match_type=AUTHOR,match_dates=0,match_forum=ALL
  4. I've replied to your pm. Out of curiosity, how would you "take this further"?
  5. I wouldn't describe the forum's reaction to legal threats as giving businesses "preferential treatment", but I know what you mean. I shall lift the ban to see the effect.
  6. I've not really looked into it but as long as we act accordingly i.e. take down anything that we are made aware of that is obviously defamatory, and/or comply with the authorities requests as soon as we can, then we should be fine. So no, I don't think it'll make a difference round here. The onus is on the individuals to stay within the law and I don't want them using the forum as a tool to 'anonymously' break the law.
  7. Hi, yes there seems so be a spate of those kitchen spams at the moment, they happen on lots of forums https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=kitchen+spam , they even spam the Multiple Sclerosis Society forum! Please do report them, one of us will remove them as soon as possible.
  8. Please keep the discussion about the charity shop and not each other.
  9. Uh, the page you link to is the page you're talking about, the one that's "been removed". Or am I misunderstanding?
  10. The Incident Room, I like it. I suppose we can try it out, perhaps you could help me get head in the right frame of mind... Incident Room or not? - door to door window sales man /woman selling book door to door - Local police (lack of) - Accident on Lordship Lane this morning - unexpected evening callers - Traffic problems on Goose Green - Bins, rubbish & Smells on Forest Hill Road I have to say, having looked around the first two pages there is a lot of petty/non-petty crime going on.
  11. Sorry that's not possible, but you can put a picture in your post and direct them to that.
  12. Hi tomwalkerhome, I'e replied to your PM, drop me a line with more info and I'll see if I can help. As El Pibe says it's free software but to license the unique EDF Experience, that's priceless.
  13. Business section would be the best place
  14. Just coz ur a white van man you cyclist hayter. Nice idea but hopefully their posts will all concatenate into one soon.
  15. The person who started the thread asked for the message to be taken down. I don't like taking threads down but he gave valid reasons for wanting it removed and so I have obliged. Apologies to those who were enjoying it and contributed to it.
  16. Photo removed because we really can't have a photo of an individual on here and then people accusing them of breaking the law.
  17. Any chance of moving off Veggies/James and back onto The Patch please? Edited to add - thanks 'bout now
  18. * Public service announcement * Please excuse the interruption but I recently had to clean out the forum's database as it was 10Gb in size, to do this I had to remove all images that were over a year old. That's why old images are no longer appearing but the database is now only 3Gb in size so the forum's less likely to fall over because of it. A small price to pay but sorry the original images aren't at the start of this thread. * End of Public service announcement *
  19. test 14:55
  20. test 14:46
  21. I'm trying to stop him/her but it's pretty hard.
  22. You're allowed to advertise once for free, it's the rules. Nothing vindictive about it.
  23. No they're not and I didn't see your thread to start with. Try posting again.
  24. Please keep this thread on topic, which is "East Dulwich councillor - how can I help?".
  25. WTF? Tell him to read his email, I've replied to him. And don't post non-ED Issues/Gossip messages like this in the ED Issues/Gossip section.
