For your information I have previously been contacted by the police regarding posts on the forum and I get sent a notice by them requesting personal information to be handed over. You may call that a "blip in the usually excellent admin of the forum" (thank you) but I simply call it giving details to the authorities.

Hi This has happened before and so I apologise in advance to those whose legitimate posts have been removed. There are a small minority of people who have an axe to grind with Kingsdale and yet again are using the forum for malicious purposes. I have to make a choice, allow them to continue and therefore face days of legal wranglings or simply removing posts. I have chosen the latter. I know it's the easier way out but simply because a few have an issue with the school they are making the rest of the forum suffer. You know who your are so please stop it, take it out on Kingsdale themselves but keep it off the forum. Despite previous warnings and some of you have edited the libellous content it was not enough. You're spoiling it for others and are making the place untidy. No more. Regards The Administrator

It's been put back up.

We keep getting reports from someone apparently from Kingsdale saying posts are libellous. We have collected the details of the posters and will forward on to the authorities when requested so that they can speak to the individuals concerned. I suggest that if you have embellished anything in your posts that could be lies that you quickly go and amend them before teacher comes back with the police.

Thank you for your suggestion but there's not that much of a demand I'm afraid. Homes wanting babysitters, builders, tutors etc should look in the business section where they can find them.

Gidget, I can confirm that businesses aren't supposed to be advertising in the for sale section and also cannot big themselves up more than once in the business section. And I can also confirm that they have to have an ED address. However I would also ask you to stop your vigilante actions on the forum. We've had words before because you have a habit of rubbing people up the wrong way, so please stop it.

Strictly speaking animal sales aren't banned "Animals can only be sold if there's a link to them listed another reputable website." Hopefully it's a compromise between the fundamental animalist types who want no one to sell animals full-stop and those careful ones who want to sell animals that they've cared for. By making sure they have the animals listed on reputable site means they've gone to the trouble of doing it properly and not just got their Staffie up the duff to make a few quid to buy more Berkeleys and Special Brew.

It's actually bump that's the problem, so many people were bumping up their posts by writing "bump" there's a ban on it on those sections of the forum.

Thank you for letting me know and that user has now been banned. They have a habit of coming back on here with different names so please let me know if they do it again.

The time went wrong on the old server when the clocks went back/forward but then I managed to find out how to set the server clock to update from and external timeserver (like Greenwich's). I haven't set this server's clock to stay up to date from elsewhere yet so I assume it's gradually slipping, let me see what I can do. posted at 13:28

Hmm, Tulse Hill is not in in East Dulwich so I'm afraid you shouldn't really post it.
