The system is currently having issues sending emails, these include Registration emails Emails that tell you you have a Private Message(PM) Emails that tell you someone has posted in a thread (message list) you are interested in Apparently this has been since around midday today (Wednesday). Apologies for any inconvenience, it is being investigated and normal service will be resumed as soon as possible regards

It was put into the Lounge because it's not East Dulwich specific. There are currently three people promoting their holiday homes on the forum and I have drawn a line I'm afraid. One person posted about their holiday place separately three times in two months which meant there were three holiday homes on the first page of the Wanted/offered section which was too much. The forum's meant to be for East Dulwich things. The following are typical things I have to remove: My brother has a shop Scotland I want you to visit (I live in East Dulwich) My website sells things to people in East Dulwich I offer financial services to people in East Dulwich I'm a builder in Essex but I will do work for people in East Dulwich They all offer things to the locals but they're not specific to East Dulwich, if you see what I mean. Anyway I have moved your posting back to the Wanted/Offered section because I'm in a good mood. ps If you were to offer a genuine reduction to East Dulwich Forum users then you could probably post it again in that section and I would not not mind.

Just be honest and declare they are a friend, there is nothing wrong with that. If questioned reply fairly, do not bite back and say you are being treated like a criminal, that is a sure sign of deceit and annoys me. I have already apologised to Keef but I have removed his post from the other section, there are false postings on here and I have to deal with them as I see fit. I remove quite a few of them but every now and then I decide to show them up, hopefully nipping them in the bud. It is meant to be a useful and friendly site and dishonesty is not really appreciated. And they should be East Dulwich companies where possible, her company she was promoting is in Tooting.

Yes, this is weird one and we're working on it. If you message has the words special-ised, special-ist, special-ism, or similar words (without the hyphens) in it then it gets rejected so please replace that word with something else. apologies for the annoyance

There other two have now been Lounged, they slipped through the net (although one of them did ask me politely previously and also offered a reduced rent to forum users so was allowed in that section). The reason they were Lounged is that they are not East Dulwich specific and it is not fair or beneficial on other forum users the fact that people are advertising non-ED items. If there is a glut of them then I will also remove them from the Lounge area.

I have emailed the Youth Offending Team to confirm or deny whether the office is moving to East Dulwich and I will let you know of their response (or preferably they will respond on the forum themselves). In the meantime this thread will not be locked so that you may continue to discuss the topic.

Sue I have explained this in a Private Message to you already but I will do again. You are having an event, please post about it in the What's on section. You want someone to hand out flyers, please ask in the wanted section. Every time you post in this thread it rises to the top of the ED Issues and Gossip section, it is no longer an issue or gossip. Your previous thread was Lounged for this reason, and I then de-lounged out of courtesy. I am now saying it is time for this thread to quietly slip away whilst you promote your events and tell everyone about it in the relevant section. I hope you understand.
