Is this the only reason for buying a house? I don't think so.

  3. 'The Div' Job done.
  4. A discerning lady.. a proper lady. Delightful! I remember visiting some charming pubs in York, then a pleasant meal. Then we took a wrong turn and found ourselves walking down a very steep street where we were the only people not wearing deeley boppers, L-plates, matching t-shirts, or in drag.
  5. But what is folk music, mmmm? More to the point, when does folk music stop being folk music? You start out with some folk music, you add a bit of innovation, what have you got? Folkie music. Add more innovation, then - surely - all you've got is, er, music.
  6. York Swarming with grotesque stag and hen nights - every weekend.

And ????.. I'm no expert with regards to what children want, but wouldn't they prefer a Nintendo DS rather than the tomato growbags? I mean, sure, *Bob* Junior seems happy enough with his tray of cress at the moment, but it's only a matter of time before he realises he's been had.
  8. Good cherry tips.. thanks all. When a fat-arsed pigeon gingerly edged down the last lowest-hanging branch last year to deprive me of my final cherry, it nearly threw me over the edge. Someone suggested CDs on string too.. though that might just look plain weird.
  9. David, Can you offer any tips for stopping the birds from pecking at my cherries? Pigeons, mainly. The little bastards! Thanks in advance.
  10. Yes - snatch.com is merely a stepping stone thought to another site, called CFNM. That's Clothed Females Naked Males - in case you're wondering. The pictures are just as ridiculous as you would expect them to be.

  12. Just four bags of scampi-flavoured fries.. but I'm saving those for tomorrow night. They're an aphrodisiac, you know.
  13. Sorry about that, Rosie. I ate seven tubes of barbeque Pringles today and had to nip-out during Question Time to let one go. Safety first.
  14. Looks like a cross between a lively moshpit and a junior school disco. Quality selection of YouTube comments, as ever.
  15. There's a lot of talk (and pictures) about the clothes online, but talk of 'rucking' (plus pictures) is never far behind. So was 'football hooliganism' (as it became know) nothing more than the definitive gang culture of the age, no more than Teddy Boys, Gangstas etc etc? Or was it something else?

Believe it or not, what is socially acceptable is not set in stone at the age of three. For that reason, I tend not to crap in a potty and have 'bitty' from my Mum now I'm a little older. > There are plenty of places around that she could > have popped into to use the toilets. Not on in my > opinion. Please draw us a plan, with all public toilets on Whateley Road (and surrounding roads, for that matter) clearly marked.
  17. Not you. Him. I'm with you.
  18. What do you do when you're caught short? Piss in your pants?
  19. I've never read so much bo1locks in all my life. Keep it coming though. Great stuff.
  20. As you know.. football can kick itself up the arse all day long for all I care (generally speaking - World Cup excepted, of course). But I'm interested in the Football Casuals thing. Who 'woz there'? Was violence an essential part of the thing, or limited to a small minority? How important was the football? Do we have MDMA to thank for the end of off-pitch bovver?

  25. Well it's (nearly) here now so there it is. In six or seven years time we'll no doubt be taking a look around - with an open mind. Doing the rounds of the local primaries recently was an interesting exercise in itself, unearthing as it did a bubbling cauldron of assumption, prejudice and snobbery (ours, that of others). If we learned anything from that, it's that you only know by looking for yourself.
