  1. Yeah, c'mon Mike - sort it out. If you put the same effort into practising the bass guitar that you do into your crusade against the EDF.. well.. who knows, with time you might even be able to play in time.
  2. martell1 Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > 'Why are you single?' - what an idiotic question. I think it was a compliment, not a question.
  3. I'm Ted's brother. Alas, the gene split wasn't in my favour - I take after Mother.
  4. Ted often sellotapes a Minstrel under his t-shirt, which can then used as an integral part of foreplay.
  5. I sincerely hope that the good women of SE22 are not so shallow as to be put-off by my looks. Never judge a book by its cover.

  7. They're covered by point 3, I think.
  8. PM me for more. Here's my picture.
  9. I'm kind, warm-hearted, generous - with a GSOH - and am solvent and own my own home (with GCH). I'm a good listener, like country walks, black and white films and art galleries.

  11. This will open-up wonderful opportunities for snooping.. er.. I mean - putting names to faces.

  13. Two egg and cress sandwiches, a gallon of pork stuffing, a pickled herring and three blind mice, please.

But of course. Unless you want to discuss the Barrymore case?

Anyway, I blame Iaineasy. He started it - and then left me holding the baby.
  16. BBQ'd spare ribs, duck in Hoisin sauce and egg and chips twice, please.

    Rug Talk

Becca - thanks for that. We have all but decided on getting our Rug Action from 'Woven Ground', but will swing by Zenoria in between and have a look for sure. Jez.. we also have an Ikea rug from a flat long since flogged, which simply refuses to die. It's so rough, you could probably grate cheese on it, but I just can't bring myself to bin it.

I don't think I could have underlined my lack of expertise/professionalism/facts any more if I'd tried. Note I have also offered ill-informed opinion on surveying, carpentry, interior design, DIY electrical work and rodent control - so please don't feel personally attacked on a professional level.

Anna. You're being massively daft. Me having an unprofessional and speculative opinion about the demise SG in no way denigrates your six years of study. If you see read about an incident in the news, or see it on the telly - a murder, an accident, a disappearance, a whatever, I expect you sit there in stony silence, refusing to speculate idly with partner or friends until all the facts are in from all the relevant professionals and presented in triplicate. Do you? Assuming SG, his family and friends aren't morbidly trawling every website everywhere for discussion about his death, the only feelings I seem to be trashing here are yours, in which case, seriously - get over it. The *Bob* way (whatever that is) is generally to say what I think. Otherwise, what's the point of being here?
  20. Grilled pork dumplings for two, salt and pepper squid, duck in plum sauce and 2 boiled rice please. How long will that be?
  21. Four spring rolls, a quarter crispy duck, chicken chow mein, Beef in Oyster Sauce and two portions of egg fried rice, please.

Are there any links between pulmonary oedema and solvent abuse - such as GHB? Indeed, if you were to google "pulmonary oedema GHB".. would it bring up any results? Purely from a speculative layman's point of view, of course. I leave the real facts to doctors and the Coroner.

I admit I don't speak for everyone in this matter. At this point it's probably just me and another million people (who've had the same experiences) thinking the same thing.
