  2. What happened, Ciggers? Did the plan to achieve the ultimate destruction of The Forum followed by global domination (eye patches, cat stroking, revolving tables etc) - hatched with the best minds over at "thatwebsite" - come unstuck? Resulting in this poor effort?
  3. In fact most of us moved from Loughton. ????, Ted, Mick Mac.. Loughtonians through and through. We were mostly attracted by the plentiful supply of detached housing - for around the million mark.
  4. Why of course! I used to own a million pound house there, before I sold-up and moved here.
  5. Nige - watch out for Ted. He's a Lib Dem. And you know what they've got in store for you.
  6. Where are you moving from anyway? Cloud Cuckoo Land, I presume.
  7. How soon will you be moving Nigee, do you think? Will you be viewing all eight of the ?1000000+ houses currently for sale, or just going with a recommendation from someone on here?
  8. Nice touch on the 'night out' thing. Nice. Come on, Nigee.. you can do it! One last push.. you're nearly there..
  9. Whenever any property maintenance was required, my elderly neighbour (at a previous address) would often talk of 'getting an Irishman in'. I shouldn't laugh, but it cracked me up every time.

Handy for the launderette too.
  12. It's all very confusing. If I was called 'Pat Scotland' and was told I was going to be made a Baroness (of somewhere in England) then I like to think I'd have the decency to change my surname - so common folk might at least know wtf was going on.
  13. She should at least be demoted. To say, Baroness Wales. Or Baroness Birmingham maybe.
  14. Well, Nigee - I was roughly in the same boat as you a few years back, financially speaking. I thought long and hard about it and - in the end - bought fourteen bedsits in Dawson's Heights, which I rent-out to Chinese students. I spent the remainder on a new caravan, where I live with my Mother, in the car park of The Plough.
  15. Gosh Nigee, that's tricky one. Let's start at the top. How many kitchens do you need? Two or three? Are you a regular churchgoer? Can you live without underground parking? What colour beard do you own? Have you ever 'knocked through' and regretted it?
  16. Anyway, this should be in the 'for sale' section, strictly speaking.
  17. It's tough at the top. I offer ?2 - if you throw in a mouse mat.
  18. Next week's enlightening discussion: Which cheese do you like? I really like brie! People who like brie are complete tools. A bit of brie is ok, but I couldn't eat a whole wheel. I used to like brie but then I really got into gouda and couldn't eat brie again. I loved brie before everybody started eating it. Now I only eat edam. etc

  24. They could have saved on Martina's fee and just wheeled a cardboard cutout around instead. It would have been an improvement in the personality stakes. Aleeeeshar already seems to have run-out of useful things to say. She's way out of her comfort zone. Still, it is at least nice to have someone younger on the judging panel. The old line-up was starting to resemble a queue at a bus stop.
