  3. I'm well acquainted with 'leafy south Croydon'. It's shit.
  4. Good stuff.. Put me down for four barrels of prune kernal oil and a metric tonne of tonka beans, please.
  5. They're doing a 'Property Ladder' in Nunhead, but were a bit short of footage.
  6. I thought it was something to do with having a Polish cleaner.

  10. Anyway - I don't want to pull this debate into the lounge. So back on track. Anyone who thinks WR is anything other than a great local butcher must be mad as a hatter. There.. I've said it. That said, my 'favourite' staff member has recently departed.. sniff.
  11. Pellets, Louisa, not bullets. This isn't Peckham.

I tend to vote for a 'goer'.. so consider my tick in your box.
  13. Yes. Even fruit.
  14. Certainly not. I won't eat anything I didn't shoot myself, what what.
  15. I didn't realise Iceland did Geese, Louisa? That's going to be one hell of a tin to get open.

  17. Can I suggest one of these? They cunningly combine the very worst in fireplace design with the laugh-out-loud awfulness of a pop-up TV. http://www.picturehousecabinets.com/
  18. Those funny cabinets that hide the shame of your television crack me up. Especially if there are fake 'books' on shelves around it with VHS cassettes inside. When two friends of mine got married - they were so much in love that "they didn't have a television". Anyway, that was a few years ago.. they've got a 40 incher now.

  20. Can you still get 'Athena' posters? The one with that tennis player scratching her arse is a classic.

  22. From memory, Velma's contribution to crime fighting was limited to losing her glasses and spending the entire show groping around for them (to the sound of canned laughter)
  23. Why would you phone a butcher who has put a 'turkeys for regulars only' sign up - unless they knew you by name? It's putting them in a slightly embarrassing position, isn't it?
  24. Come on, Neilly.. Even if you are a 'regular', your attempts at bagging a turkey come across as decidedly suss. It's the middle of November, which means you've left it too late (the sign regarding turkey ordering has been up for ages). You're trying to order it over the phone (bizarre) and send your mysterious boyfriend in to collect. No doubt you were irritated when they said you couldn't have one and now it's stewed into something postworthy. You sound like one of those people on 'Airport' who's arrived a minute late to check-in and starts throwing a wobbler.
  25. Surely the main duplication is that it's a cheese shop. Do we not already have The Finest Cheese Shop This Side Of The River?
