I look forward to it Adrian, those are the best parts of the review. Hugs to the Blonde.
  2. Can I request that adults who post, stop using the word 'tummy', it's silly, not to say slightly creepy. I don't usually explain why I edit, but I thought on reflection my original post could be construed as being at the very least mean-spirited, if not downright offensive.

I think that there is a point to what you say, bigger villans etc. But let's start with the small stuff. Do you honestly think that an anti-social bufoon has a sense of 'politically' why he is such? He is what he is, because he is. Political theoriticians can guess and second-guess all they want but the change is only going to come from communities/societies/groups of people themselves. In the recent Mayoral elections, people were asking the candidates what they were going to do about gun/knife crime amongst the youth, they all tried to answer. Had any of them said 'I don't have a bloody clue, I'm only looking to be a Mayor', he'd have got my vote. On your last point I do not want to drown. I am still optimistic about human beings, I think you are too, really, Love And Peace on you.
  8. Making Your Mind Up - Buck's Fizz. My brain can be a real bastard at times.
  9. Tap Of The World - The Carpenters
  10. Wet It Be - The Beatles
  11. Virginia Plain - Roxy Music Not sure, but fine.
  12. macroban Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I regret that I do not have a charging mechanism > in place that enables me to do this. You could simply answer and explain to Thomas, what you meant by your remark about him. You threw it at him so why not explain it. To him.
  13. I considered throwing forward in a flirty way, just because, and for no other reason than it metioned her name, the song by R Dean Taylor 'Indiana Wants Me' Edited because I missed a space. Though afterwards I started to think that I might introduce another R. Dean Taylor song 'There's A Ghost In My House' in a vaguely 'sexy' way in order to flirt with Indiana. There's a ghost in my house The ghost of your memories The ghost of the love you took from me Where our love used to be Only shadows from the past I see Time can't seem to erase The vision of your smiling face Though you found someone new I can't get over you There's a ghost in my house I can't hide (ghost in my house) From the ghost of your love that's inside (ghost in my house) It keeps on haunting me (ghost in my house) Just keeps on remiding me (ghost in my house) In my mind I know you're gone But my heart keeps holding on To the memories of those happy times To the love that once was mine Though we're far apart You're always in my heart There's a ghost in my house I can't hide (ghost in my house) From the ghost of your love that's inside (ghost in my house) You're still such a part of me (ghost in my house) Still so deep in the heart of me (ghost in my house) I just keep hearing your footsteps on the stairs When I know there's no-one there Every day I love you more So much more than the day before Sittin' in my easy chair I feel your fingers running through my hair Lookin' down in my coffee cup I think I see your face lookin' up All alone in my gloom You voice echoes through the room There's a ghost in my house And I can't hide (ghost in my house) From the ghost of your love that's inside (ghost in my house) It keeps on haunting me (ghost in my house) Just keeps on reminding me (ghost in my house) I just keep hearing your footsteps on the stairs When I know there's no-one there You're still such a part of me (ghost in my house) Still so deep in the heart of me (ghost in my house) I can't hide (ghost in my house) From the ghost of your love that's inside (ghost in my house) I realised afterwards that it wouldn't really work. Not without it being sung. Though I could half do it. Mark E Smith did.
  14. Wake up and there's a song there. No good reason for it. It just got lodged. You can't shift it throughout the day, and it may be a song you loath, like, are indifferent to, or adore. But it's there in your head. Share it with the the rest of us. Comment or not about it as you see fit. Let us know though. For me today it's Holidays In The Sun - Sex Pistols h
  15. There There My Dear - Dexy's Midnight Runners
  16. DM, I'm glad you agree with me. I stopped short of using the phrase 'the giddy limit' but it is really, isn't it?

It'd be good to let Thomas know why you referred to it in response to his post. I gather he's a young chap, so give him the benefit of a reply. It'll further his education.
  18. She has the same number of syllables in her name as the Stranglers' and Morrisey song titles 'Dagenham Dave' And you can easily insert her name into the lyrics. I'd feel special if it was me.
  19. The KKK Took My Baby Away - The Ramones
  20. Following on from Brendan, a particular loathing of mine is men in three quarter length trousers. It's an insult to trousering, your lower body and the rest of the world. What do they think of a morning when they're dressing? "I know I'll put on a pair or strides that make me look like a monumental wanker" Probably not, but that's the 'look'. Stop it now.
  21. Thomas Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > macroban, would you mind explaining what is meant > by your comment 'If it quacks like a spoilt > kid...' He's asked Macroban. I get the reference, but only fair to explain it to the person you directed it at.
  22. CamberwellOz, I appreciate the thought and who knows, maybe I will make that recipe. Oh, who am I kidding, I know I never will. The problem with the homemade versions of indusrially produced products is that they always taste different every time you make them. What I want is exactly the same thing every time I open the jar. If I want fancy-pants home-made condiments I'll go to The Ivy for breakfast. Or if they're too snotty to open up for me I'll take my custom to The Wolsey. I think of it in the same vein as Eddie Murphy talking about his mother making him a home-made burger as opposed to what he really wanted - a McDonalds. There he was, crying because the other kids were teasing him for his "big old welfare burger". Is that what you want, CO others teasing me for my home-made cucumber relish, and implying things about my mother? Because if you are.... I'm sorry, got a bit het up there. But you know thanks and all that sort of rot, and maybe I'll see you in the Hermit's Cave sometime soon.
  23. The same as cdonline, though if it gets very hot I roll my shirt sleeves up and push my cap back three inches.
