I suggest from now on that we use a code in order to express our approval or disapproval concerning our mayor. During his his time in office he will inevitably make decisions that we disagree with. When it's something we like refer to him as - 'Magic' Johnson. When it's something we don't like refer to him as - Boris Gump. Just a suggestion.

On the small subject of breakfast sandwich adornments. Why did Bicks the relish people, stop the cucumber variety? When a chap was in need of a condiment for his bacon sandwich and just didn't fancy the correct lashing of HP sauce, wasn't prepared to go with second place coating of tomato ketchup and English mustard and was in the mood for a little walk on the sweet and and vinegary side, it was perfect. In fact there was nothing else. It made compact hangover breakfasts, some of the best of my life. It made more sense of cucumbers than there's ever needed to be. Or indeed ever will be. Anyone know why they cut it off? Anyone know if there's a way we can all get well again?

You know what? I don't think the London Grill was by Crosse & Blackwell, I reckon, after a little looking up it was by Heinz. Still, detracts nothing from it's deliciousness.

I contacted HTA and put the concerns above to them. Its issued the following statement. Now you listen to me young fella me lad, Think it's easy getting around picking up bags of people's leavings at my time of life, do you? WELL,do you? All very well putting a few blouses, trousers and worn out shoes (because between me, you and the gate post that's mostly what we end up with) in a bag and expecting us to come round and pick them up the next day, but you don't have my legs to contend with, do you? Our collection service relies on a combination of my Freedom pass being valid, my back/legs/bladder/eyes functioning to a half decent level and my grandson being prepared to 'hop the wag' from school to give me a hand.
