  1. Highly recommend the Riverford recipe boxes, we get the vegetarian ones as I don't eat meat they are FULL of veg, full full full. Also can try a few then you have the recipes to make yourself. Another great book is by Anna Jones, a modern way to cook. Loads of great recipes in there with lots of veg and beans.
  2. Hi! Nope.... We are going to the Lordship pub which we did last year and was great! It's the outdoor space vs catered that seems to be the choice. I have a new baby so catered won over outdoor space in the end!
  3. Thanks for all the responses! Will investigate... A mighty girl website looks amazing, what a good idea!!
  4. Just given birth to my third female! So I have 3 girls under 5. Does anyone have any recommendations for good reads around the subject of raising girls. I'm especially interested in confidence (as my main observations in the workplace with regard to difference in gender are about this). But any books in this area are of interest (if there any that's d give me a laugh too that's be much appreciated!!) Thanks
  5. Thanks yep I think Healthmatters is probably the place, they'll most likely be able to advise me more too. Thanks much x
  6. Hi 37 weeks with no 3. I do Hypnobirthing and had a sherts of aromatherapy oils for use in labour/run up that I can't find! Can't get in touch with my original teacher who moved away. Does anyone have something similar that could email me? And recommended places to purchase? Thanks for any help, so blooming disorganised this time. Xx
  7. Currently starting to organise a 5th birthday party. Wanting a place which caters, is licences (for adults!) and had outdoor space as end of June. I'll have a days old baby so could do with a reliable and helpful venue. We Contacted the Herne but they've stopped doing kids in the barn! Any one got ab alternative suggestion in Dulwich/Peckham/Herne Hill? Thanks so much
  8. I need to courier papers from ED to Clapham tomorrow morning to arrive between 9-11am. Does anyone know of a good service? Or am I best to just stick in an Uber? Thanks
  9. I have two ikea bags of good condition but unwanted toys - any good ideas about where is wanting toys at the moment? Thanks
  10. We've got an electric car (plug in hybrid) coming our way in June so need to install a charge point. Anyone done this locally and recommend an installer? I also heard you can get a grant to pay towards the cost of this? Thanks
  11. Got my EU card, notes and midwife letter. My business travel is fine with all of that but my leisure doesn't cover 12 weeks before (and after!) EDD. Most stop at 28, some at 32, I'm a day out! AllClearTravel cover up to 36 weeks though, and look reasonably priced so going to go with them. Thanks to all for their messages! Xx
  12. Travelling to Tenerife at Easter and on my return date I'll be 32w1d pregnant. All fine with airline and midwife but my work leisure travel insurance won't cover past 28 weeks. Has anyone had this situation and could recommend a company that'll cover me? I'm going to try and endorse my current annual but would like an alternative option. Thanks all!!
  13. We used Thumbguard with my daughters fingers which kicked the habit, nail varnish stuff wasn't popular. They suck it but it's not as satisfying so they stop slowly (or at least she did). Teeth improving since. No 2 is 3 in 2 weeks and we are getting one for her (thumb rather than finger) we shall see..... Hubby thinks too early for a 3 year old, but hoping it will be stress red like her sister. If it gets upsetting I will leave it for a bit. Good luck!!
  14. Hi all We are looking for our driveway to be replaced, not sure with what yet, and wondered if anyone has recommendations for someone to discuss options with us. Many thanks
  15. My wonderful GTech has given up the ghost (after a good run and a hard life) and looking for a replacement can see the market has moved on! I need something to just do a quick daily clean on mainly tiled and wood floors rather than carpets (I have a separate vac), something that has a good battery, picks up well and stores easily. Any recommendations appreciated xx
  16. Highly recommend the Yoga Room in the Gardens for both yoga and massage (and soon to be baby massage). I'm on no 3 and so have done lots of Preg yoga and love these classes, great location and teacher http://www.theyogaroom.org.uk and a number of classes on offer X
  17. Has anyone had their loft deep cleaned? We use ours for storage and it boarded. It's v dusty and could do with a good clean out, but given there's insulation and stuff up there I thought a professional would make sense? Thanks!
  18. Just wanted to add another recommendation for pregnancy massage. I had my first with Y a couple of days ago and it was one of the best I've had (it's my third pregnancy). She really worked on areas which I needed and I felt fully relaxed after. I will be going back soon. I'm also attending pregnancy yoga which is also great! Highly recommended.
  19. I've just been to my first pregnancy yoga class at the Yoga Room and I just wanted to recommend to everyone. Lovely setting and a great teacher. I've been really suffering with this pregnancy so it was very much appreciated and just what was needed. Will be returning and also booking in to have a massage.
  20. I just haven't got time, anyone had someone in to give their drive a good jet wash? Any recommendations? Thanks
  21. Not really a family room discussion, but you're a helpful bunch so hoping someone may be able to lend a hand :0). I'm a new trustee for a small charity. They've set up a pension scheme recently, or at least are ring fencing contributions. They need to put them somewhere! Has anyone done something similar recently with a charity or small business? Any advice about who to contact? I only have experience with big corporate funds.... Thanks so much
  22. We've got it in our kitchen diner under marble floor and love it. Have it in utility too so washing dries quickly. Also have it in our bathrooms too which is great, no bathmats!! Means we barely put normal heating on anymore. We have our kids lying on their too!!
