  1. I'm sure when I drove past at 6 this morning the road was closed again...
  2. If these thieving scum ever got caught they would probably only get a slap on the wrist. You've lost a few hundred pounds worth of bikes that they probably sold for 50 pounds for all of them so who gets punished you or them. Government and courts need to come down harder on thieves and burglars we work hard and miss family time to earn and buy what we have.
  3. I bet you that when lock down ends those roads or a majority of the roads currently closed with plant pots etc will remain closed..
  4. Good news. People caught stealing dogs should be give a mandatory prison sentence with minimum 5 years as they are not property they are family members

  6. alice Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Ted - good post My real name is DAVID TEDFUDGE is the name of 2 of my dogs sadly Ted died last year... my wifes name is KIM the porch light is usually on from 10pm as I leave to go to work at 11pm. But if you are afraid or in fear of your safety just bang as hard or loud as you can and my wife will answer the door I have dogs so they will bark aswell plus my daughter and her boyfriend are there so there is plenty of help if needed...
  7. If any female is feeling scared or harassed and think they are being followed and you are walking along Barry road you are welcome to knock on my door for help or safety my wife will let you in or help in anyway that she can My door number is 63a..
  8. Not a thug Malumbu just someone who would help someone who is distressed and feeling threatened I dont like bullies and people that pick on kids and women does not make me a thug. And I'm a Tottenham fan.
  9. I'm with you @dulwichdadio People would change their mind about using force if it was happening to them or a member of their family... I've intervened in things like this before. I was about 15 at the time I was walking my uncles dog and going to shop to get him something when a woman ran into middle of the road holding a baby while her husband was punching her in the face and cars were driving past doing nothing and people queuing outside shop as it was about midnight in forest hill and did nothing so i asked 3 ladies who just pulled up to hold my dog because grown men stood by and did nothing so I ran upto him and attacked him The police came and sent dogs a helicopter etc to search for him as the coward ran off and the police took my statement I asked If I was going to be arrested for assault they said no definitely not you was protecting a woman and a baby and used reasonable and necessary force.. so bottom line I would do it again with no hesitation. I'm sure the do gooders on here moaning wouldn't mind me or dulwichdadio stepping in and protecting them or their loved ones if this happend..
  10. I saw 3 young guys looked like teenagers a few months ago doing the same thing in Barry road they went into my neighbours driveway and was trying the doors on his car and I had just parked up as got home from work around 6am when i got out of the car they ran off I walked back a bit from where they had come from and there was a car door open and bits on passenger seat and one with a broken window. So maybe the same people.
  11. @JohnL I would approach friendly towards the victim first to try end escort away from danger or the scene but if no choice I would be using force no question as I would then be very concerned if the person did not leave and started to follow etc.. And I would get the victim to be calling the police at the same time...
  12. Hope the young boy is somewhere safe fingers crossed he returns home safely and as quickly as possible... will keep look out while doing my deliveries....
  13. If someone is making 2 young girls cry and scared and threatening them with a bike chain I for one will not stand by or say excuse me sir but your doing wrong do mind awfully leaving those girls alone.. how do you think those poor girls felt at the time and the other women on here who have reported it.. bet if it was a member of your family you would be angry and react the same way and want to give the person a smack..
  14. Personally I think it's the council trying to grab more money from motorists in southwark as they have got to try and make some more money after what they have lost through covid and government cuts. My household has 2 cars which are used for work as we both work nights all over different parts of London so cannot use public transport. How about instead of 20 people voting on this they send out voting papers to every resident in southwark who owns a vehicle surely that would be a fair and democratic vote.
  15. If I see the arsehole treating any female like that in the park or anywhere else they will be going to hospital.. the person is a coward as no men have reported this and why do certain people keep bringing up slavery ? I'm sure that when the slavery that the guy was on about no one that is alive today was alive then I certainly dont know anyone who is over 300 years old. Like SALLY EVA said try and stay close to others and in sight of as many other people as possible...
  16. I would call the police if I witnessed this behaviour it needs to nipped in the bud as quickly as possible. Kicking balls over fence towards the road is dangerous and stupid A car could swerve and crash or a child could go into the road to retrieve the ball or any other object thrown by the idiots.. Next time contact the police or park wardens as mentioned by CORA and B&G
  17. Hope you find her safe and well . I will keep a look out while I'm doing my deliveries...
  18. Where abouts in east dulwich ?
  19. @dulwichfox Just watched the YouTube video you put up and it was good and interesting... I think the young man that did the video and narrated it was really good and it was well done... thank you for posting it I for one enjoyed it very much
  20. I tore a ligament in my ankle 2 fridays ago while at work and was waiting for a letter from hospital to go back and see surgeon and have plaster cast taken off to check my ankle etc. It arrived yesterday my appointment was for January 15th so has to phone hospital who have made me an appointment for this Friday... I have also had post arrive this month dated November..... I dont know what is going on with the post in last few months but needs sorting..
  21. I used to take my dogs to dulwich park on the edge of the park there is a trail where you walk through the trees etc where you can walk the dogs off the lead . I know this because the park wardens told me and there used to be signs saying so but not sure about now..
  22. Thank you for taking the time to warn others
