Post not being delivered by Royal Mail
tedfudge replied to gazzam's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
I'm lucky to get post once a month on Barry road. My wife received a parking fine from euro car parks for parking in the tessa jowell hospital ( she had an appointment) saying she failed to pay the original fine sent in August so fine now £85 I'm appealing the fine on grounds that we did not recieve the original fine , I have enough problem paying original fine as my wife was at fault not realising you have to give your registration number to someone. That was the last bit of mail I recieved and that was the 9th October... my neighbours are In the same situation even getting other peoples mail... our original postman Gary told me a while ago that when he goes on holiday they hire agency staff to cover the work and when he gets back theres piles of post that has not been delivered ... it's possible the agency staff are not bothering to deliver the mail and just throwing it away and going straight home... -
Foreign racial slur used as bakery name on Lordship lane
tedfudge replied to Fassianos's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Contact the council as they may have powers to make the owner change the name.. maybe even the police but do NOT dial 999 for this -

When the protesters blocked bridges etc they were hypocrites because the was drinking from plastic bottles they had mobile phones and how did they all get there was it the trains and buses and cars that they are all protesting about ? Leave other peoples property alone What would be next if you dont have solar panels on your roof they are going to RIP the tiles from your roof ?
-
People should leave other peoples property alone just because they dont agree with what they drive... do some people honestly think If the UK went environmentally friendly everything will be ok ? It's the rest of the world that needs to do the same and most are not interested. Also deflating someone's tyres is not right if that person has to drive their wife to hospital if shes gone in to labour or drive their children to hospital etc what would the consequences be ? Not everybody agrees with what others do but does not mean others should disrupt.

tedfudge replied to clairebear8283's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
When I see a dead fox in road etc I usually put in 2 green bags and leave at side near a tree etc and council come and remove I've done same with cats unless has collar on then notify owner... picked them up in pieces before on Barry road luckily for you yours is still intact . -
Attempted bike robbery Green Dale / Dulwich Hamlet
tedfudge replied to Beulah's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Maybe ask the council to install CCTV in that location that may deter these scum from attacking and robbing more people. The next person may not be so lucky -
I always pick up after my dog . What ibusually do is carry a bottle of water aswell once picked up or he pees I pour water over the area . Theres no deterrent to make people clean up after their dogs.

hello people did anyone else receive the DULWICH STREETSPACE REVIEW UPDATE FEBRUARY 2022 today ? i was reading through it and then read the following bit and it says Engage with specific protected groups e.g disabled , elderly, black, asian, and minority ethnic communities as well as bus users ... im confused about the protected groups black , asian , and minority ethnic communities part of it not sure why they have included that on the leaflet and also what about white people do they not matter ? its not a race thing so dont put messages on here that im racist etc as that has nothing to do with it iam just confused on why those specific groups of people are mentioned and not white people..

Southwark noise and nuisance service
tedfudge replied to legalalien's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
I made a noise complaint a week ago about the refurbishment work going on next door to me the noise was unbearable it was neumatic drills for 4 or 5 days solid ... when I spoke to lady on phone she heard it and could not believe the amount of noise it was making the gguy from noise control called malcolm was not interested at all he said they can start at 8 and finish at 6 I said that's not fair on others living around the noise as they are doing it 6 days a week and even over the xmas bank holidays which is illegal so I went and put a stop to that. The works started mid November and will end mid March its driving us crazy -
