Fazer 71...you seem to be suffering from what you accuse other people of-i.e. lack of brain and logic but you also do not seem to have a working pair of eyes. You say "It?s not rocket science Train Stations = Parking Problem. " only one thing wrong with your pronouncement-my street which is included in the proposed CPZ has no parking problem and plenty of spaces.

I actually read that draft report as a resounding win for democracy! They asked.....we told them......and they are going with it. I consider a comment about Stalinist approach to democracy as ridiculous!

If Peterstorm's reply about Ondine Road is correct it makes me very angry-as I have exactly the same experience as Peckham native-I live in Ondine Road and never have any difficulty parking there in the day-only late at night. Certainly not commuters causing the problem.

Ondine and I think Coplestone and maybe some of the others are in South Camberwell ward. Councillors are Veronica Ward, Stephen Govier and Peter John

The preferred option does come after the question of whether or not you want CPZ. So if this consultation is being done fairly it shouldn't count as a yes. I have gone on line and it is a required field and wont let you continue without ticking one or the other so if you want to leave it blank to register protest you would need to use the paper consutation document.

I live in Ondine Road and my experience is I never have a problem parking during the day. The only time I have a problem is if I get home late in the evening. This to me is clear evidence that the issue is not commuters but weight of residents parking. On a hopeful note-a friend in the Choumert/Bellenden area says they were consulted a couple of years ago about a CPZ and the majority was against so it didn't happen. So if you don't want it make sure you make your views known....and if the majority want it, I guess that is what a democracy is.

Hi Grumpy Granny I think we hang out in the same places as other age groups? Have you checked out Green and Blacks? And much though I hate it in theory-cafe nero is also a good place to hang out. Hope you are enjoying ED
