Violent crime in London is very low compared with much of Europe, America and the rest of the world. Petty crime as in phone thefts, amazon thefts etc is a very different matter

The painstaking preparation work involving ridding my garden of 30 years worth on bamboo has been finished and everything is ready for the delivery of turf for the planned wild flower meadow at the back of my garden. I am amazed. Josephs is not new, it has been there about 3 years? I have had fish and chips from there a few times and rate their fish as some of the best I have ever had from a fish and chip shop. Chips are great as well, The portions are enormous and great value.

Poached has been taken over by new owners. I had a very good coffee there and the menu looks good

Just to say it is certainly only about the prices. I remember Suzanne from when my cat Milly Molly Mandy was ill. She was very kind and I am sure that has not changed or that she would have vets in the practice who were not well qualified and kind.

They are doing it because the government has been decreasing their budget year on year but the council still has to deliver services. They have to get money somehow. I'm sure you know that but it bears repeating again and again.

I said excuse me , could I go past and they turned round astonished and pointed out there was no room to get past. I said yes, so perhaps you could go single file for a little bit so I can go past. Why should we do that? they asked. So I could get past I repeated. They let me past and I heard them bad mouthing me ......
