Has your GP got a fax number/email contact? That might be another way to get in touch. -

The musical will be available on YouTube from Friday April 3 at 7pm for 48 hours. The 2012 production of Jesus Christ Superstar will follow the weekend after ? Easter weekend ? starring Tim Minchin, Mel C and Chris Moyles. More shows will be announced soon ? hopefully CATS will be next. Ah, thanks kiera. Just checked latest update on Sainsburys website: 'Substitutions and returns (Updated 26 March) ... We are unable to accept any returns on the doorstep from customers however, customers can receive a refund for any substitutes by getting in touch with our Contact Centre.' There's the rub ... managing to get in contact with the Contact Centre! -
Just seen this in the Independent warning off possible power cuts during lockdown: https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/coronavirus-update-lockdown-power-cuts-blackout-electricity-advice-a9437691.html 'British households told to prepare for blackouts as coronavirus lockdown goes on Vulnerable people told to ?keep a torch, hat, gloves and blanket handy?'

Hello there, I just signed the petition "Boris Johnson: 6 Demands from NHS staff to help us tackle Coronavirus" and wanted to see if you could help by adding your name and sharing the petition widely. Our goal is to reach 300,000 signatures and we need more support. You can read more and sign the petition here: http://chng.it/tB44fnqWxG Thanks! Ilona

The National Theatre is going to stream a free play every Thursday night '... the NT is switching to its YouTube channel. From April 2, under the banner of National Theatre at Home, every Thursday (7pm GMT/2pm EST) will see a new National Theatre play released ? free to watch for one week ? along with bonus content including cast and creative Q&As and post-stream talks. There?s a definite emphasis on family-friendly good cheer for the line-up so far, which kicks off with a big hitter: Richard Bean?s beloved farce ?One Man, Two Guvnors?, starring a pre-chat-show-days James Corden. Over the next few weeks you can expect a string of family-friendly titles, though naturally there will be those hoping for some of the real NT Live blockbusters, notably ?Hamlet? and ?Frankenstein? starring Benedict Cumberbatch and ?Coriolanus? starring Tom Hiddleston. The initial programme is: April 2 ?One Man, Two Guvnors? by Richard Bean, starring James Corden. Read our review. April 9 ?Jane Eyre?, adapted by Sally Cookson. Read our review. April 16 ?Treasure Island?, adapted by Bryony Lavery. Read our review. April 23 ?Twelfth Night? by William Shakespeare, starring Tamsin Greig. Read our review. Additionally, the National Theatre will be rolling out National Theatre Collection study resources to pupils now learning at home. The NT has also confirmed that live performances won?t restart until at least July.' I used to get the most peculiar substitutions before. You can hand back any substitions you don't want and they'll be refunded. Also any more expensive substitutions will have the difference refunded. Some things on the 'we haven't got' email on the morning of the delivery are on the email every week for me!! Unfortunately, the local store supplying deliveries might not have everything ordered online on the day. I've found that this has increased over the last few weeks. If not this delivery, maybe the next has become my motto!! -
They're doing a great job. My mother's area in East Sussex is under a reduced service, so we are very fortunate.

Hi Richard, Sorry, I don't have a clear response to that (I rely on deliveries), but I think that if you both have a medical reason and the two of you need to shop together you shouldn't have a problem both getting in. If you should have any difficulties you can make a complaint (see below for details of free resources available on Fry Law website). With best wishes, Ilona 'Equality and human rights champion Fry Law has a raft of template letters which people may wish to use during the Coronavirus crisis, including complaint letters to supermarkets, designed to provide priority access for disabled people. They can be downloaded for free at www.frylaw.co.uk. There are so many fast moving decisions affecting disability rights at the moment. Fry Law has created a forum where people can discuss and advise on the law online. The forum will meet from 6-7pm on Tuesdays and Fridays. Cathy Casserley and her team at Cloisters Chambers will be on hand, together with BSL English Interpreters Love Language, to answer questions and enter into conversation. There will be different guests for each session, to reflect different themes. Sue Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > > What I stupidly didn't ask was how frequently I > would be able to order, so consequently my order > is quite large, to be on the safe side ..... Hi Sue, I'm on the disabled priority list for Sainsburys deliveries and the email I got said one order per week (not that I want to order more!). You might be similar. -
richard tudor Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > unable find out from Sainsbury's web sight does > anyone know the answer. > > My wife finds it very difficult to walk and I have > bad sight so it is always a joint effort. > > Would appreciate answer or if someone could assk > when they go > > Many thanks From the Sainsburys website today: 'Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, all our supermarkets will dedicate 08.00 to 09.00 to serving elderly customers, disabled customers and carers' You could also try the click & collect service online but I think you would probably qualify for priority delivery registration as well - a bit tricky in practice, but possible.

What reason have they given why they are not going to deliver it? If related to Coronavirus it goes against the policy on their website: https://www.yodel.co.uk/news/2020/march/covid-19/

Subject: COVID19 Briefing Note - 29/03/2020 - NB Briefing note for 29 March deleted as released by mistake (see below 30th March) Good morning Please find today?s briefing note from BCU Commander C/Supt Colin Wingrove. No briefing note was issued over the weekend. We have had some messages about police officers being seen not to observe social distancing while on patrol. While police will try their best to observe this, the reality is that the way in which we deploy (in minibuses) and the calls to which we deploy (large groups causing issues; violent incidents) means this is not always possible. I have reminded local teams to observe this where able to but please do not be alarmed if you see groups of police officers together. We will always observe social distancing when talking to members of the public unless we are required to get closer (for example for a search or arrest). Regards Owen

Might be the chilly weather putting them off.

Remaining attachments to today's briefing 1) Coronavirus scams letter

Good afternoon Please find below today?s Covid19 briefing note from BCU Commander C/Supt Colin Wingrove. Also attached are 3 documents; the first two relate to advice for business owners and the third is a letter around possible Covid19 scams. This weekend will see extra officers on patrol across Southwark to engage with the public and enforce the lockdown where appropriate. We will be focusing on parks and open spaces as we?ve had a number of reports of anti-social behaviour and gatherings in these areas. We?re also working closely with the local authority to identify and close any businesses that should not be open. Thank you for your continued support and be safe. Owen
