LOL - That was the point :)
  6. Maybe replaced by this woman who apparently grabbed his coffee cup at party conference too Got to say she's a real Boris minder https://www.facebook.com/watch/live/?ref=external&v=668517607907102
  7. The Sun explains it better for its readers : The new Highway Code hierarchy is as follows: Pedestrians Cyclists Horse Riders Motorcyclists Cars/taxis Vans/minibuses Large passenger vehicles or courier vehicles like buses and HGVs Cyclists now have a higher power over vehicles
  8. I guess the speed limit is 20mph - so I'd say stay within it and you won't be blamed as long as you pay attention and stop if someone walks into the road. if you are going thirty in a twenty zone all blame will come on the driver.

I saw the 'funnel' > video evidence. Looked okay to me. LOL November - I don't check dates obviously. I'm pretty sure the whole thing was a joke by one single fan which took off.
  10. Also Candlemass tomorrow (also known as Groundhog Day)
  11. I watched "Faking it" with Savile and the guy conned the whole UK establishment. Andrew Neil seemed onto him in an interview, honed in and he pulled out a banana, ate it and the Audience all laughed - moment gone. He also made a strange death threat "people who cross me don't get older" that again just got laughter. No way can that be put onto one person (whoever that is and the AG was tory) - The royal family down were conned by this guy who had his own key to a hospital ward and when he dies still got the funeral of a UK hero.

Hope not Wales Ireland is a highlight. Wales fans trying to wind up the Irish for "Irish Week" with a story that Leinster didn't form a proper tunnel after Cardiff beat them last weekend and the tunnel that was formed was in fact more like a funnel.
  13. Rye Lane has actually improved since I moved here in 2007 in some ways. I remember the Hope pub looking so forlorn in it's last days.
  14. Truss will now be working from home after testing Covid positive - so its Boris alone. https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2022/jan/31/liz-truss-tests-positive-for-covid-after-speaking-in-packed-commons
  15. I assumed that was Boris - who we invited into our house in 2019 and now he's wrecked the house and annoyed the neighbours.
  16. Still think this throwaway comment was a low blow from someone who does low blows for a living https://www.standard.co.uk/news/uk/jimmy-savile-boris-johnson-prime-minister-sir-keir-labour-b979805.html
  17. He's off to Eastern Europe and Russia with Liz Truss tomorrow apparently Doesn't really want to stay around here.

  19. Every Tory MP today tweeting about how successful Brexit has been. Not co-ordinated in the slightest.
  20. The reference to Jimmy Savile is an all time low by this PM and that is something.
  21. Just take quantity of complaints and investigate/deal with the ones with the biggest complaint numbers. Then it comes down to quality control of complaints but that's better than what they are doing now. All it takes in a pub for instance is notices on the doors saying "respect our neighbours" - and customers then need to be reminded that as pubs are soundproofed to a degree you can shout inside but not outside at 2am. All the good pubs realise this and it does work - I see it.
  22. I don't actually mind either way recently - as in the pub nobody does except the bar staff. I wear them if it might upset others if I don't.
  23. He said "Total Rhubarb" today.
  24. Maybe some of the "anti-maskers" are scared wearing a mask might become a habit - I have the habit of a facemask when shopping or on the tube/bus now :)

Everything in a Police Notebook gets put online I think.
