So there's two tales of Ukrainian Heroes - one true one maybe not so true. The soldiers on Snake Island who on being told to surrender by a Russian Boat responded "Russian Warship, F**k you" before being killed. and The F29 above Kyiv that has supposedly shot down 6 Russian planes and become the first Ace Fighter of the 21st century and is now known as "The Ghost of Kyiv". The fact these stories are going round the world isn't helping Putin.

So Lavrov was in a telephone conference this morning and CNN were trying to cover it. Lavrov kept on trying to bring in a Chinese media group to ask a question (maybe it was a pre-agreed question) but every time he asked for them it went to a CNN reporter in Kyiv who was telling him they were under fire from Russian forces even though Lavrov said they weren't. Made him look a little stupid today.

Putin actually threatened nuclear war if anyone gets in his way (if you watch his news conference this is what I took from it). Do we do a JFK in the Cuban Crisis and sort of say "bring it on" and hope they back down. Do we go hard with sanctions and try to support Ukraine with weapons.
