Hmmm Putting your least effective people in the safest wards. Isn't that going to discourage your best people who are put in a ward that may not vote for them.

The Cherry Tree Pub CLOSED? Drinker Disaster

Google it and loads of pubs across UK and Ireland do it. I found a thread on Reddit where whole towns in Ireland would shut as soon as some travellers turned up at the first pub (they all phones around). Obviously there's a perception of something by pub managers and companies. -
Pret A Manger coming to East Dulwich! (Now open)
JohnL replied to KateFord's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Not only did the staff in Pret Holborn give me regular free coffee but they also waved at me as they brought sandwiches into the building I then worked in. I know its probably corporate policy to be nice to your regular customers but they did seem to make an effort. -

The Cherry Tree Pub CLOSED? Drinker Disaster
JohnL replied to Brideshead's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
The Cherry Tree has always been empty as long as I remember except after football matches - when I first came to this area the then landlord was not popular on here (that takes me back) I'm sad it never really got popular as its a great space. -

I'm not sure what Boris's plan is but I suspect he has no plan except to say he got a trade deal and that worries me as he could get it completely wrong.

So on his way to India the PM says we need more immigrants to do IT jobs after years of saying the NHS and other services are overused because of immigrants. Thanks Boris.

Boris on his way to India today saying "The UK needs hundreds of thousands of new workers particularly in IT and programming" So no refugees allowed but we are selling visas for a trade deal

Is this a dark kitchen ? I asked on another thread how you link complaints like this to licensing when it comes up. ?
-
So what if the noise is people leaving a pub at 1:00AM every night and only lasts a short time whilst they wait for their taxis and shout. Surely Southwark can ask for notices to be put saying "please leave quietly and respect the residents" without having to attend. How do you just register a complaint so when licensing time comes you can say there were xxx complaints after 1:00am

It wasn't just the Archbishops of Canterbury and York criticising this but the Pope made a little reference too (without saying UK).

Just do the sh*ke and v*c and put the freshness back (I think that ad might be sexist these days)

The Pret I went to the staff used to wear the flag of their place of birth on their uniform. I liked the colour - but I admit there weren't many union jacks LOL -

Tom Tugendhat seems to be the closest who aren't in the tight Boris Clique in the Tories. Nobody around seems to have the gravitas of even Gordon Brown and he had his problems.
-
or maybe Truss is now favourite It's like the magic Roundabout.
-
Why is Pritti Patel now favourite to replace Boris Johnson Is that by default as all the rest have mis-stepped.

Maybe so - so you learn it as is taught But the answers in my view are debatable whether true or not

If you associate James Barber with National Liberal Democrat policy in the early 2010s which you can do (I think the CON-DEM alliance was a huge mistake and they should have stuck with Gordon Brown in 2010) (that is a mistake for the Lib Dems) you must associate the current Tory candidates with Johnson and Sunak. I think many will vote on National issues.

XR are known to be clever about what they do - they might give an indication of turning up on Peckham Rye then turn up at Clapham. -
