David Davis said the 58 impact assessments were in excruciating detail, there was so much detail even the PM had only read summaries etc. etc. Today he turns over a few A4 pages in a lever arch file and says that's most of it then ducks out of facing the music. The committee sounds annoyed and implies he should explain himself pretty quickly, I think he's going into the bell tower to cool down when he shows up in front of them. The Speaker hints he might soon be facing a charge of misleading parliament.

Yes - I use password safe. Useful and backed up to USB. I clear out my browser etc. regularly (not that I've got much to hide)

Car Port it was I think ( I assume that's the garage) - maybe that's where the meter was. Why not just leave a self read thing - strange -
From Michelle's post it does seem to be following the rules that is the issue rather than the rules themselves. Sainsbury's staff in DKH do seem very busy however, every aisle has someone doing something when I'm there.

on a google (remembering the Master Boot Record getting corrupt in XP) could be something in this link (all windows) - anyway you have to boot from a rescue disk or a Windows disk https://neosmart.net/wiki/fix-mbr/

Could you boot from a USB drive (oh for the old boot floppy I carried everywhere - virus checked too it was) or is it trying to do same :)

More interventionist policies (which I don't disagree with) - but once again this comes from Ed Milliband's playbook although Vince Cable says it's his playbook :). https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2017-01-22/may-industrial-strategy-sees-sector-deals-with-u-k-business (from Jan2017) It's independent of Brexit and exit of EU agencies IMHO - Government should intervene in the free market where appropriate.

Not wearing gloves seems to be the policy at Sainsburys.

Now if Wales could finish ... and defend against strike runners. But all the home nations improving especially Scotland.

She was acting lost again at the latest EU conference - someone came to talk to her and she actually grimaced. In other news Can Louise Mensch be trusted at all - She now tweets that UK intelligence source have said that Russian interference was such as to have a direct and measurable result on the referendum and that Nigel Farage is about to be arrested. She used to be a serious politician but this sounds trollish. She's getting David Icke like - unless she's trying to discredit Remain ?. https://twitter.com/LouiseMensch/status/934195552694296577?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Etweet https://twitter.com/LouiseMensch/status/934195322896769026?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Etweet

Why are they always breaking and the temporary ones in place break too. Reported - but TFL don't have these traffic lights in the system either (logged as other). Bus drivers know so beep the traffic through making a bit of street noise - traffic chaotic and seen a few pedestrians close to being knocked already. Soon the whistler will turn up :(

If that had been Nigel Owens he'd have been over asking the Prop whether he was fit enough to play. Because IMHO I suspect he was - Ref was a bit out of his depth at that point and language barrier didn't help. The second half was turgid :)

it seems like ?50b or no progress (my estimate) Theresa May is in a bit of a bind but I think she'll probably pay. https://www.standard.co.uk/news/politics/eu-gives-theresa-may-two-weeks-to-up-divorce-bill-to-stop-brexit-talks-stalling-a3694706.html

Whats the word used on twitter for something that sets you off "trigger" - use of the word traitor sets me off :) Fighting for what you believe in whatever side you're on isn't treacherous.

I think Wales will find the Georgian pack quite a handful. Pity about Jonathan Davies - last play of the match too and now out for the 6 nations.

Wales seem to have put out close on a second team against Georgia. Not sure why, a bit disrespectful. The Aussies beat NZ .... and Wales :)

The trip to Brussels - and the assumption by the EU they want to stop Brexit. Adam Boultons comments. Just don't think that would be in a UK newspaper

I am :) but probably if pushed to place in order that's it at the moment. Anyway Lord Adonis has entered stage left now in the Sydney Morning Herald - with Adam Boulton predicting an election within two years - some things I didn't know in this article which just seems a little strange. http://www.smh.com.au/world/this-is-a-genuine-crisis-the-cliffedge-moment-coming-for-britain-20171117-gzna4v.html

I was in the Shakespeare Head spoons yesterday and they've put even more Chistmas trees up now - they've got 2 inside and two at the entrance. But Birminghams got the spirit (not) http://www.birminghammail.co.uk/whats-on/whats-on-news/birmingham-christmas-lights-switch-underwhelming-13914670
