I complain on trustpilot these days. More likely to get a positive reaction. Abellio only have reviews for their Scottish services though and they're awful.

ignoring the fur issue I see so many of these around I can't believe so many people are paying ?1000 odd. I also only ever see one colour - and I'd always prefer red which I've never seen (or am I just a red fanatic and everybody else prefers dark blue/black). (but then again an iPhone X costs ?1000 - so if you're out in the cold a lot maybe they're worth it ? )

"The Canada Goose Fur Transparency Standard? is our commitment to support the ethical, responsible and sustainable sourcing and use of real fur. The first traceability program to cover the wild habitat, it ensures that all fur sourced by Canada Goose is in accordance with the Agreement of International Humane Trapping Standards (AIHTS) in Canada and the Best Managed Practices (BMP) in the United States, and is fully traceable throughout the supply chain. The standard certifies that we never purchase fur from fur farms, never use fur from endangered animals, and only purchase fur from licensed North American trappers strictly regulated by state, provincial and federal standards. As of April 2017, all fur used in new Canada Goose products is fully traceable, and includes country of origin labelling."

I think you're meant to take an interest into what is going on in a protective sense but not make a big show out of that interest in front of others. You can pop in with other excuses to check someones all right. Older people are sensitive about there independence sometimes.

EE speed is hit and miss - in the Great Exhibition I got 150Mbps whilst in the EDT it's about 20 But doesn't drop out completely.

I sometimes give them a quid even though I shouldn't :)

My neighbours will never be pleased with me if I let someone in via the communal door without ID as we have had people sleeping in the stairwells before.

I've been trying Apple Cider Vinegar since Xmas - it's horrible (even diluted with honey) but I think I'm getting used to it.

Latest analysis on the LSL Acadata website is for October - but even it notes that the figures are affected by a small number of high end sales - e.g. for Westminster in September. Note this is all Sales figures not asking prices. "As can be seen in the above table, the largest price falls on an annual basis were in the top 11 boroughs by value, with prices in these eleven boroughs falling by an average ?50,600, or 5.6%, over the twelve months. The largest individual fall over this period was seen in the City of Westminster, down an average -19.2% or ?320,555, per property. It should however be noted that some 39 apartments were sold at the Thames-side Riverwalk development in 2016, at an average price of ?2.9 million, which raised prices in the City of Westminster in September 2016, but no similar sales of new-build high-end properties have been repeated in 2017, hence the substantial fall in prices seen in the borough. Wood vale cemetery New No flower policy
JohnL replied to Localresident's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
I would just keep putting flowers where I thought appropriate until they give up or take me to court (I don't get to visit my parents graves very often and will always put flowers on the grave - it shows someone still remembers them). -
Zoopla shows rises in southwark over 3 and 12 months and a fall over 6 months. Maybe it's just statistical differences - note the report says year through to November 2017. https://www.zoopla.co.uk/house-prices/browse/southwark/?q=southwark
-
LSL Acadata according to that report - who are they ? and they have a picture at the bottom which shows Southwark in Blue - I think these types of survey get effected by a few top end sales - probably in the north of southwark or elephant park.

Ever since I complained to the Royal Mail - My mail always has an elastic band around it, so there is some kind of change :). My debit card was reported stolen (not by me) yesterday and text 'a new one will be sent to your home address' received - someone still trying one month later with the identity theft stuff - time to ask for a new bank account me thinks. These people just don't stop.

Just rang my bank again about my thoughts on intercepted posts (someone keeps re-ordering my bank cards obviously trying to intercept them - already involved police and royal mail but it's taking a lot of my time). Bank - there's substantial attempts at the moment to intercept post by a gang across london. (of course I've no idea how they do this - maybe follow the postman around and pull back letters not pushed completely through - or other means.)
