Not a huge fan of his - although I walk past the new Goldman Sachs HQ every morning - seems to have a floor occupied too even though it's not finished. But he's going on about 'other directors' - wonder if it's the start of an agenda. Just wait til they get Theresa May alone in Bilderberg :)

It does sound like we'll have two classes of people - those defined as 'professional service workers' will have access to the EU etc, and the rest. Obviously those in one class will be more in demand. "David Davis said he was committed to getting a swift deal on a transition period by January and mooted special travel rules to enable professional services workers to move between the UK and EU." http://www.telegraph.co.uk/business/2017/11/15/jp-morgan-begins-telling-uk-staff-relocated-eu/

Pokeman ? or has that passed My view on this is they pick on the vulnerable although will be opportunistic. It's sad that the most vulnerable people in society who have enough problems then have to put up with being the most at risk also.

Might do so if I get an iPhone X - My iPhone 6 is now handover material in that situation (which luckily I've never encountered). GAAR - got to say I'd never heard of it. So if we feel something is designed to take advantage of a loophole - then it's illegal ?

OOH LOOK, A SQUIRREL!" Oh yes - but "dead cat" is the correct term isn't it as in you throw a dead cat on the table and everyone screams. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dead_cat_strategy trust Boris to be the expert quoted :)
  14. Where is the line though - what do you think of the below - I suppose the difference is these were/are both used by poor people. When I was in Uni we used covenants in order for parents to give money to their children - everyone did it and you got the tax back (they were originally designed for giving to charity and the loophole was closed eventually) When I set up my current workplace pension we used a method of salary sacrifice (everyone used it and maybe still does)to get more money into the pension.
  15. Indecent Assault too then and filming children.
  16. Is Theresa May getting ahead of the curveball

I remember an Ethics sub course in my postgrad - but was mostly where people were harmed. this is more difficult though - maybe some would start to look for another job
  18. Good for her (even if I say so myself). Sky News today claimed that photo of the Muslim woman walking past the injured at London Bridge was Russian propaganda (to get us fighting each other)

When my neighbour (with Alzheimers) went missing a big response was made to search then for some reason.

You're probably right as Dominic Grieve has refused to withdraw the original amendment. This government will try anything to limp along. "Davis says, if MPs reject any aspect of the Brexit deal bill, that will be taken by the government as an instruction to go back to Brussels and try again. But whether they take any notice is a matter for them, he says." What an arse - we won't fall for that.

Yes I think - but all David Davis has said today is the bill will be put forward for a binding vote by parliament and if it fails the bill will not go through (that's the entire repeal act - so no EU laws will be copied across to UK - for me that would be chaotic)). Surely at that point the government would fall. So is this a confidence motion in effect ?

Theresa May gets to live another few weeks as PM - It's premier league manager stuff :) I assume this deal will be either (1) Take the deal or (2) Exit with no deal We now want to make sure it becomes more like (1) Take the deal (2) go back and re-negotiate (3) Remain (4) Exit with no deal
