You have varying degrees of masculine and feminine in everybody, whether you call that sex or gender is only nomenclature and language - names we make up for things. We just have to make ways of dealing with the issues that causes as a society (space, competition, the right to be addressed in a certain way, how the police deal with you etc.).

I notice the Queen was the closest she's ever been in 50 years to making an abusive comment "I've just been talking to your secretary of state for health, poor man. He came for Privy Council," she told the prime minister. "He's full of...", At this point Boris interrupted and said "Beans" https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-57584417

I'm not suggesting a Trans section but more a segregation according to ability/strength - I don't know how this would work as it's only the beginnings of an idea and I know that could be accused of taking the competitivity out of it as we once did in schools (there are no winners only competitors) - but the Olympics is failing in my view anyway and I thought I'd hate the Paralympics and it's sections .. but actually I prefer it to the main Olympics - it actually does work in terms of the viewer.

I believe this is a world issue rather than a UK issue. Al the free world countries will eventually (some quicker than others) head in the same direction. As usual the USA will lead in how to resolve.

Also seems like India Willougby has quit Sky News over Trans issues. The Dan Wootton show seems to be the most extreme of the lot (I don't watch so am going by others comments - but it always seems to kick off there) https://www.mailplus.co.uk/edition/comment/78250/india-willoughby-why-did-i-walk-off-gb-news-trans

Tom Harwood asked the PM a question the other day and he was given a lot of time - more than most other journalists although apparently Sky News and BBC News were trying to veto GB News representation on the UK News Pooling System as they don't contribute enough (can't find the current state of play)

The presenters can be right wing yet still be personable I guess Their viewing numbers are down to about 50K now apparently - after a burst at the start.

No - The Olympics could have many sections though - for all kinds of people. Overweight 50 somethings discus. Why Not - What;s the difference between categories in the Paralympics and categories for the rest of us - maybe an FTP test and you participate against people of your own level. It's the taking part that counts. A bit radical I know - but in my lifetime the Olympics has been just a hotbed of cheating and drug taking.
-
I remember when I was younger East Germany won everything going - I knew their anthem off by heart it was played so often. Is it really much different now ? If you think the Olympics is about fair play and winning - you're wrong. I actually remember this one ... "The Spanish basketball team at the 2000 Paralympics pretended to be disabled to win the gold medal."
-
It would be an abuse of human rights I guess if they couldn't compete anywhere - i'd feel it was anyway even though I don't care for that type of competition.

Deleted as it's even more complicated - flow charts here - but notice all the acts of parliament the police (and others) must comply with. https://www.westyorkshire.police.uk/sites/default/files/2019-02/trans_and_non-binary_people.pdf

Paralympics has a multitude of divisions - maybe that's where we are headed for main Olympics - either way there should be a solution. But then I don't have much interest in Olympic Sport or individual sport in general - Lance Armstong spoilt it for me a little.

From what I can tell there is a general issue at the moment with deliveries to all grocery shops. https://www.retail-week.com/grocery/grocers-hit-by-availability-issues-as-driver-shortage-bites/7040045.article?authent=1 I'm not sure if this could effect what's on the shelves (are groceries stuck in storage longer than usual ?) I've noticed fruit is riper and more likely to be off - can't tell with other products (I often eat after the best before ... and have eaten after use by - when its one day). Also when you're single and you open a pack of (say bacon) and you know you won't finish it in the 2 days the instructions say to do - are you supposed to chuck it - buy smaller I guess LOL.

Farage was on apparently - broadcasting his own brand of whatever. All the big right wing newspapers are supporting them. Would be funny if AT&T/Warner turned them centrist once Andrew Neil left LOL.

This is a strange quote - almost as if he doesn't know that CNN and GB News are complete opposites with no synergy at all :) "Discovery CEO David Zaslav said last week that, alongside CNN, GB News will be an important part of the merged Discovery and WarnerMedia outfit. He told press: ?We love CNN. If you go to Europe we?re entertainment, non-fiction, the leader in sports and we?ve been on attack with news. We?ve just made a very big investment in the UK [in GB News], in terms of direction for us, and our plan was to roll across Europe, because we believe one of the differentiators is live, news, live sports.? https://deadline.com/2021/05/gb-news-sets-launch-date-1234764275/

I notice Discovery Channel is merging with Warner Media under AT&T So GBeebies (as it's called) will be a stablemate of CNN :)

The Police are bound by the Gender Recognition Act 2004 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gender_Recognition_Act_2004 Of course the records of this country know more about you than you know yourselves :) -
LOL Drip Drip from Cummings who no-one should let into a WhatsApp group ever again. Hancock must be fuming but he's not showing it.

If fans really hated what was happening I guess they'd vote with their feet and attendance would fall. I think it's seen as a bit of a skirmish in the culture war by those booing (although I personally don't care if people boo - if they pay)

So if I give "Thumbs Up" in good faith and it's taken as an insult - Do I stop using it ? I'm 100% sure the football and rugby player are in good faith.

The below could mean a number of things including just what it seems to say "Police say they believe she is the only suspect, and had initially been mistaken for a man". https://www.southwarknews.co.uk/news/exclusive-three-more-women-attacked-by-knife-wielding-suspect-in-east-dulwich/ -
Has taking the knee been made compulsory in any setting or sport If not then it's just a personal support gesture and surely those doing it know better than those not doing it why they do it (and I don't think it's to support Karl Marx).
