    Hipsters

And how many people here wore branded track suits (early 80s) - or even worse shell suits as teenagers Embarrassed and I never wore a shell suit - but I remember wandering around town when everyone did. And what about those black and white shirts with stone washed jeans and matching jacket that were around for 6 months. charlesfare Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Hasn't every generation since the enlightenment or > whatever had their own version of hipsters? > Pre-Raphaelites, flappers, beatniks, teddy boys, > new romantics and so on. 5. seeing as so many people seem to work from coffee shops (I really don't know why but they do) I suppose the coffee shop event horizon is yet to be passed.

Reading the Welsh media Cardiff have given up it seems (sorry to Cardiff fans - but that's what Media Wales portray) Fulham still fighting and Sunderland with the games in hand (Spurs tonight) Norwich last 4 leaves them in the mix Swansea (my team) still act as if they are too good to go down - ominous.
  10. I thought Melbourne Grove was moving there.

    Stomach bug

I take some stuff from Holland and Barrett which can (and sometimes does) cause stomach issues. 5HTP for instance knocks my stomach for six :) I try the peppermint oil too
  17. Someone just said on another website - label a petrol tank as diesel and vice versa. Don't lend your car to a mate :)

  20. The issue is planning permission to run a business from home - which is needed when it starts to effect other residents - I'd think then the council will limit the amount of businesses approved in an area. I think the Tories have relaxed regulations from what they were. To me - about 4 cars may imply a start-up business may be being run. The business may expand - to be honest I'd just monitor for now (when does it become an issue - 10 cars for instance).
  21. If a home is being used as a business and it begins to cause material changes - then a load of laws are invoked. "The likelihood of there having been such a material change of use may be indicated where the business or non-residential use generates visitors, traffic, noise or fumes over and above what might be expected if the property were in use as a single dwelling without any ancillary use. If the relevant inspections are passed - than OK :) http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/businessclub/people/6581497/Home-businesses-battle-against-legislative-barriers.html PokerTime Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I don't know about Dulwich Van Hire, but there is > no regulation to stop any vehicle that is properly > taxed and insured from being park anywhere on a > public highway. 22. In my experience a small DIY job quickly becomes more time consuming - especially if you don't have every tool under the sun - the one you need is the one you don't have. Example Wanted to replace my cistern input flow last weekend - get the part, but quickly discover the input pipe connector is almost inaccessible - in all the internet plumbing videos it's easy to get to and on the right - mine requires you to work almost blind. and on it goes - I'm absolutely sure some newer designs are purposely difficult.
