  1. I've just collected 3 made to order by the next day - they're lovely and very well made. Also a great charitable initiative - hats off to Lulu1's daughter!
  2. I've been going to Simone's classes for years, they're great - fun, accessible, inclusive and a good workout. they are a brilliant class for every level of fitness. and so welcoming.
  3. I'll second that - I've trained with Darren and his team for a number of years. I also did the last running course they organised, it was great - accessible and enjoyable. Looking forward to this one.
  4. I need to clarify - ?hunting? was a poor choice of word, she isn?t killing or attacking anything, she?s just a dog with some energy to burn, running from tree to tree. She?s not a nuisance, she?s not aggressive - she could not have been less interested in my small, fluffy, prey magnet dog who also, like many dogs I know regardless of prey drive, likes to squirrel watch, a lot.
  5. The dog isn?t lost. We thought the same last week. She just runs around the park hunting squirrels for long periods and has such a high prey drive, her owner, who is with her in the park (with another dog) leaves her to do her thing. She?s a lovely dog, a Podenco ? Spanish hunting breed, i think.
  6. From mid March, I am looking for a puppy sitter for between one and three week days a week from 0900 ? 1830. Sitting could be either in our home or your home, but he won?t be fully vaccinated, so could only socialise with other dogs if they are fully vaccinated. Initially, he won?t be ready for walks in the park, so we need a sitter with a garden. Thank you.
  7. Darren also gets my vote. I have worked with him for coming up 3 years next week, going from someone who would've taken a cab up the stairs if i could, to someone who loves exercise - i work with him three times a week and go to his saturday bootcamp. I have recommended him several times on here because he is great at what he does. if you're thinking about getting a trainer, he's your man.
  8. i love these boxing classes and highly recommend them. accessible to all abilities and a great work out in a friendly atmosphere.

    Crab Apples

i'll happily take any apples glut and make/share jelly
  10. "back to wood" are brilliant. steve and nicola. Steve's email: [email protected] i found them on the forum and they resanded our floors beautifully with minimal, if any mess/disruption. highly recommend.
  11. another recommendation for dave. timely in his response to my message, and came over the same day. a pleasure to deal with and v reasonable.
  12. I have been training with Darren Gray for the last 2 years and he's brilliant. I am a woman in my 40s, and when i started i was out of shape, self conscious and really apprehensive, as i'd done pretty much no exercise since school. the apprehension went after the first session and i saw results quickly. he's really supportive and works with you on nutrition to support your training and every session is different to keep you engaged. I highly recommend him and have done so several times on the forum. his website is http://www.fitfunactive.co.uk his number is 07904 331044
  13. Great news that this bootcamp is back. It's a a really good session, totally inclusive for every level of fitness from the beginner to those who exercise regularly, it caters for everyone. And it's enjoyable and the people are lovely. ten out of ten from me.
  14. I highly recommend Simone?s class ? I went this Sunday and enjoyed it so much I immediately signed up for a block of 10. It?s a fantastic all round work out and attention is also given to technique. Simone is really welcoming and encouraging so if, as I was, you?re at all apprehensive this is the perfect class!
