Lost dog on the run in Dulwich Park
lrm123 replied to annapatat's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
I need to clarify - ?hunting? was a poor choice of word, she isn?t killing or attacking anything, she?s just a dog with some energy to burn, running from tree to tree. She?s not a nuisance, she?s not aggressive - she could not have been less interested in my small, fluffy, prey magnet dog who also, like many dogs I know regardless of prey drive, likes to squirrel watch, a lot. -
Lost dog on the run in Dulwich Park
lrm123 replied to annapatat's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
The dog isn?t lost. We thought the same last week. She just runs around the park hunting squirrels for long periods and has such a high prey drive, her owner, who is with her in the park (with another dog) leaves her to do her thing. She?s a lovely dog, a Podenco ? Spanish hunting breed, i think. -
From mid March, I am looking for a puppy sitter for between one and three week days a week from 0900 ? 1830. Sitting could be either in our home or your home, but he won?t be fully vaccinated, so could only socialise with other dogs if they are fully vaccinated. Initially, he won?t be ready for walks in the park, so we need a sitter with a garden. Thank you.

Darren also gets my vote. I have worked with him for coming up 3 years next week, going from someone who would've taken a cab up the stairs if i could, to someone who loves exercise - i work with him three times a week and go to his saturday bootcamp. I have recommended him several times on here because he is great at what he does. if you're thinking about getting a trainer, he's your man.

Wanted: Friendly, local personal trainer . . .
lrm123 replied to honeybee79's topic in Request a Tradesperson
I have been training with Darren Gray for the last 2 years and he's brilliant. I am a woman in my 40s, and when i started i was out of shape, self conscious and really apprehensive, as i'd done pretty much no exercise since school. the apprehension went after the first session and i saw results quickly. he's really supportive and works with you on nutrition to support your training and every session is different to keep you engaged. I highly recommend him and have done so several times on the forum. his website is http://www.fitfunactive.co.uk his number is 07904 331044 -

Recommendation for Simones boxing classes Mckenzies gym
lrm123 replied to hairandeyes's topic in Request a Tradesperson
I highly recommend Simone?s class ? I went this Sunday and enjoyed it so much I immediately signed up for a block of 10. It?s a fantastic all round work out and attention is also given to technique. Simone is really welcoming and encouraging so if, as I was, you?re at all apprehensive this is the perfect class! -
adding a big thumbs up to this too. it's 100% inclusive for every level of fitness from the beginner to those who exercise regularly, it caters for everyone. And it's friendly and good fun.

FitFunBoxing - Peckham Rye Wednesday Evenings
lrm123 replied to Darren Gray's topic in What's on in East Dulwich
I've attended the last few of these wednesday evening sessions and plan to keep going through the summer. I have found them to be a really effective and enjoyable workout. The trainers cater for all fitness levels, adapting the workouts to individual ability but still working as a group so the sessions are really inclusive. Everyone, any level of fitness, is made to feel very welcome and like I said, it works! -
I'd like to recommend Wayne, he's had a few recommendations on here. Friendly, efficient, reliable and the windows are sparkling! His wife Sarah deals with all his bookings on 07886 990081

I'd also like to recommend Aardvark sweeps (found through the EDF). Friendly, quick, efficient and meticulously clean.

Looking for a really good and motivating personal trainer in ED
lrm123 replied to Tink123's topic in Request a Tradesperson
I can highly recommend Darren Gray. I've worked with him for just over a year, and i am delighted with what we've achieved. Every session is different, he has always kept me motivated and he is 100% reliable. He also works out of a private studio, so if like me, you are a bit apprehensive about getting back in the gym (i hadn't been in one in 20 years) darren's studio is a great. Scam - the Organisation for Homeless and Unemployed people
lrm123 replied to anthonyjp's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
yes. just round the corner from abbotswood, 5 minutes ago. I am glad I found this thread as I was feeling a tad guilty about opening the door, saying no thanks, and closing the door promptly, a bit rudely to be honest! -
I?d whole-heartedly recommend Darren Gray. He is brilliant at what he does - very knowledgeable about exercise and nutrition, a great motivator and a pleasure to work with. He works from a fully equipped one to one training studio in Overhill Road, but also does outdoor workouts if that's what you prefer. I found him on the EDF and am delighted i did! his number is 07904 331 044.

The Gift of Health This Christmas...
lrm123 replied to Darren Gray's topic in Request a Tradesperson
I second what Carolina313 said. I also started working with Darren at the beginning of 2013 - I was very out of shape, hadn't stepped foot in a gym in 20 plus years, and was quite anxious at the prospect. but all my concerns soon went, the work started to pay off very quickly and I still really enjoy every session. Simply put, Darren is brilliant - if you are looking for a trainer, Darren is the man.
